I recently purged a lot of my decor ... Something I stopped buying was throw pillows. Now I just order pillow covers and change them out for the holidays/seasons. Saves sooo much room! You did an awesome job! Appreciate the organizing inspo. :)

Great job🙂. I purchased some very large garment bags from ikea to place my vacuum seal bags in. It kept them from sliding around and looked neat. They’re clear with handles and zipped shut.
Good for you!!! I am organizing my great granddaughters toys and crafts along with my sewing in my second spare room!!! It will be done every year as they grow out of some of their toys every year. Big process but am definitely seeing great process💜💜💜

I have an idea of something that you could consider since you want it to be more pleasing to the eye in the closet You could buy some metal hangers like they use at the dry cleaners, that have metal clips on the ends and you could hang up those vacuum sealed bags on that pole and then it might even free up some space for you to put your loose things like the pillow and whatever else is not in the vacuum bags You could put that in a laundry basket at the bottom on the floor. It's just a thought I can picture it and I think it would look really neat because everything else is so lined up and and well organized so I'll leave you with that to think about. PS I would love to see what you've done with one of your junk journals that was completed and you went back and added pictures and notes and memorabilia to it. I can't quite picture it but I'd love to see it. ❤
Did you have movers move your stuff from Florida and have you seen your PS2 since you have been in this house. I have to go through my closets on a regular basis. I know how much work it is. Good job. You have inspired me to organize more. Have a great week.😊
I’m wondering if you could lay the vacuum bags down horizontally? Maybe flipping them every other one so they lay flat? My thought was that once you got all those stacked up, you could see how that looked and then depending on how handy you are, maybe you could throw a shelf in there? Then The shelf could be a holding area for all the things that aren’t ready to be vacuum packed or compartmentalized

I started just leaving my pillow covers on my pillows all the time - I have Christmas, Fall, and two different sets of every day covers. When I want to change them, I always know where they are and don't need to find storage space! And I downsized to only using covers on my one set of pillows, so I never have to store pillows ever again!
Just get a tall cardboard box to stack all those vacuum bags in. You could even cover it with black marble contact paper to co ordinate it with your other black containers. Good job!! Now it will be easier for you to find your stuff!

Vacuum bags are great! I used them a couple weeks ago for pillows and blankets! So much more space now! I got the variety pack, and used almost two boxes! 🫶🫶
My linen closet is an automatic dropout for towels😂 Kids moved out and now all my towels are clean and stuffed in a small space. Great job, now I am motivated to do something similar. Thanks for sharing ❤
good job. definitely looks much better! without having to spend any money, i'd rearrange the vacuum sealed bags horizontally. in the amount of space you have there, you could do two rows and then put your everyday white pillows on top of each row for cohesiveness. I recommend going to Lowe’s and getting shelves for that section. Will you have all of those vacuum seal bags. It will cost a little bit of money but when you move out of there, they could come with you and go in the garage or another closet wherever it is that you moved to. The reason why I’m recommending that is because whenever you want something on the bottom of that pile, you’re gonna have to pull out everything to get to it and then it’s gonna be laying in the hallway and you’re gonna get irritated because you needed something from the bottom. I’m just speaking from experience. That’s all I’ve been in that boat with closets in different places that I’ve lived that don’t have enough shelves and stacked stuff up like that. And then every time I need to go in the closet where things are in a big stack like that I always want whatever’s on the bottom and I get you irritated. But that’s just my two cents take it or leave it you know for whatever it’s worth at your house you know you do what you think is best for you. It’s just a suggestion and it comes from love and experience.❤

You could always lay the vacuum bags down on the floor and stack them (instead of standing them upright) - might look a little better?

I store my extra sheets and pillowcases in one of the pillow cases. That way they stay together.

In my house to package up throw blankets we use scented trash bags
What if you lay the bags flat and stack, then layer upright things on top? I think it serves its purpose!!❤❤❤❤
