Check if the belt is on its thread and if there's wear on the belt, if yes then it could be the belt that's smelling otherwise then it's the motor that needs changing
When you say stopped working, can you explain in details? Did it stop turning on or the washing part stopped rotating or what? The more specific you are, the more we can troubleshoot it
Thanks for your response. Well I use a midea brand. It is making a strange noise while spinning. I have opened it up and couldn't figure out anything wrong. It does not use belt drive.

It's definitely a power issue.. Change the socket outlets if it still not working, call a mechanic
Have chnage the gear box to a new one still the sam thing

Have, have you checked if the belt is connected to the motor or it has derailed??
Secondly check if the drain pipe is clogged

SKYRUN. But almost all twin tub washing machine have the same build, brand name is just the company marketing it.. It's mostly private labeled
