    nice project, would love to see the code for the arduino and those brushless ESC to controll in in bidirectional mode! :)

      I should make a video better explaining all that. I'm not really good at writing code but I did write all the code for this and many other projects.

    In the world of RC controllers, there is the ability to adjust the exponential value for the control joystick. By increasing the "expo" value of the stick it dumbs down the sensitivity of the stick around its center point. This results in slow controllable movement instead of full blast the moment you touch the stick. I dont have a clue how you get there with your setup but if you can, its worth it. Its a setting in the transmitter.

      Thanks for the comment. The sensitivity of the sticks can be turned in the Arduino code.

    How did you get the arduino to turn on the lawnmower?
    Can you please provide a link to your code or attach the file(s). Or even copy paste just that one part here.
    I love how you are using an xbox controller I wanted to do a build like that, but decided that is much more work and I am going with a flysky controller.
    I appreciate your videos and help!

    Great. Looks like lawnmover was as secondary job, primary is baggy. I did build petrol mover with howerboard wheels, but i trying to modefy lawnmower itself minimally, so still is possible to attach grass collector. And hide added comonents including battery and hoverboard controller board. But 4 drive wheels make more fun deffinetly 👍

      Believe it or not even with all those electronics on the back you can still attach the bag. However I cut the bag up and use it for a different project already. 😂

    Are you running saber motor drivers? How are they working without hall sensors?

    • @danielbuckman2727
      @danielbuckman2727  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They have hall sensors. I'm using 4 brushless motor drivers with Hall sensor. The Arduino is creating digital and analog signals to control the motor controllers.

    Did you program the logic by itself, or maybe there are already written programs? I don't like the fact that does speed controllers doesn't have 2 pwm inputs, for speed and turning ;( any advice for people who don't write code?
    Thanks!

      @danielbuckman2727  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I wrote the code myself. I didn't add it in the video because although it works it's terrible code. I never actually gone to school to learn how to write code. I just TH-cam crash coursed it. I've been pretty busy at work but when I get time I plan to take a class on it. I'm proud that I got four motors to work independently forward reverse and brakes on one joystick with very little coding skills.

      Are you trying to build what I built or something a little bit different? I'll give you my code it's just a bit buggy.

      The code is very long. And also the code is running on two Arduino simultaneously. The first Arduino being the remote and the second Arduino the lawn mower. I would love to share it. It's way too long to fit in the description. I'd be glad to email it to you. My email is danbuckman20@gmail.com
