-Avoid provocation and stay calm - Don't yell and do not escalate - Listen to customer - Show you're listening - Reassure that you'll follow laws and policies - Solve customers' problem and keep everyone safe

Tell me about yourself - Show experience - Retail focus that matches with qualities in the job - Talk about specifically what skills you've developed ( not stories ) - Match Qualities - Knowledgeable - Organized -Always professional - Demonstrate motivation - Enjoy working with people - Enjoy improving quality of life - Pharmacist provide essential services - What would I like about working in a pharmacy? ( Caring/ hospitable people characteristics )
3. What is your GREATEST natural weakness? ( Not reverent to job ) - Genuine weakness ( In video ex: delegation of tasks/ - Trying to fix it ( In video ex: learning to say no - Not at all important to pharmacy job
4. Why do you want to be/ why did you become a pharmacy tech? ( Be enthusiastic ) - Why would/ do you enjoy being a pharmacy tech? - Like working with medications? -Interest in pharmacology - Like the in store environment - Like interacting with the public -Social importance -Say how you like your future employer ( ex: For Walgreens, receiving a score of 100% on the disability equality index for disability inclusion ) -Job security -Matching your skills - Looking forward to learning more about medications - Good with working with other people/ teamwork - Good at customer service - Express interest in healthcare - SHOW Enthusiasm!
5. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now? - Do not mention irrelevant objectives that don't involve pharmacy or quitting in the future. -Come up with a sensible plan, that is development focused - Taking on more responsibility, ( ex: Getting promoted within the organization, training more staff. ) -Developing additional specialism (ex: Sterile products/ IV or compounding ) and link it to the community you're in. 6. EXTRA: Questions to ask them… - What CPD opportunities do you offer your pharmacy techs? - Ask about training program ( trainees ) - What should a new pharmacy tech do before starting? - What would you say makes an outstanding pharmacy technician? - DO NOT: negotiate salary, ask about holidays
