The situation in Old Town Baramulla reflects a troubling pattern of neglect by the administration, driven by both poor governance and a sense of inferiority projected onto lower-income communities. For nearly two years, residents have endured persistent road issues that would have been swiftly addressed if they occurred in areas where privileged classes reside. This disparity is unacceptable, especially in a place once known as the trading hub of Kashmir - Sher-e-Khaas - now losing the recognition it rightfully deserves.
It's crucial to highlight these issues and hold the administration accountable. Development should not be a privilege reserved for select colonies but a right extended to every corner of Baramulla, regardless of economic status. Thank you for shedding light on this injustice - voices like yours play a vital role in driving change.... Appreciable sir!

It’s disappointing to see an administration that focuses only on the upscale colonies of Baramulla, while neglecting areas where lower-income communities reside. Development and services shouldn't be reserved for just the privileged. It's important to remember that many of those now living in higher-class areas once faced similar struggles. True progress happens when every part of society is uplifted, not just the select few. The administration needs to adopt an inclusive approach that ensures equitable growth and attention to all neighborhoods, regardless of social or economic status.
