Did you do Film School? Was it worth it?
Mark Bone Yes. Was worth it because even if I go back into admin. assistance ... I need a degree even with years of experience in it. I got a 4.0 and it is a transfer degree. If one is to do college make sure it transfers is my advice. And Ikea bro.!!! All the way lol.
I’m in film school right now, 3 more months. Could easily quit and do filmmaking full time (do it right now plus school), but I want that exam since it is just a few months left. If I should be in this position a year ago, I should have quit.
Yeah I did film school. I could've learnt it all myself over time I guess, but what it did for me was inspire me to create films and to think big, so it was only worth it in that sense.
I did film school and I loved it. Mine was a shorter schooling just 2.5 years but it gave me a ton of connections into the industry right away!

Dude. I've loved following your channel since a bit ago, and really appreciated your unique insights as being a totally rad dude, I'd love to hang with, a working DP, yet also a TH-camr as of somewhat recent. You bring a layer of info (amongst other things) that's not common on video youtube land.
This video brought a new level of my appreciation for what you do. The fact that you really drove home the idea (at least my perspective of it), "You don't need to have permission/validation to make a choice". The choice to take a chance and jump into passion is a personal one, and I feel you did a great job inviting your audience to turning that question back one one's self.
I'm so stoked for you and your new space. I don't know how, but recently I've been in a huge homemaking mood, and really discovering the value of deeply loving the environment I'm in. And when you dove into that layer of this video, pertaining your home or office being such an important place to take good care of, that was very resonant and timely for me.

I don't like using the term "inspiration" when discussing TH-camrs, as it seems kind of silly and it feels a bit like hero worship, but your videos are an inspiration. It never occurred to me to be a filmmaker before watching your stuff, but now maybe. If you were to get a Patreon, I'd contribute.
