My first real camera was a Canon EOS Rebel SL1. And after many of hundreds of hours on manual settings, I began to get good at taking pictures. I know that it is just a beginner's camera and has only 18MP and not a full-size sensor, BUT, with good glass you can take some really great pictures. Do I want a 30MP camera, sure. Do I need a 30MP camera to take great photos, no I don't. To me great glass is more beneficial. But that just is my opinion. Great video and I subscribed.
100%! I was like a lot of people and started at a T7. Now I just shoot my sessions on 2 80D's! Of course I want to mirrorless and whatnot, but refuse to until one of the 80D's die! They refuse to give! So I keep using them lol!
I found this video helpful - I got a Fujifilm X-T50 a while ago and it is perfect for my skill level (introductory to intermediate). Great pictures, very forgiving, and a pretty solid ecosystem. 10:31
I'm looking into a 6400, I like the form factor and how small and portable it is. I ran into a guy recently who was getting into photography and I told him this, he responded by saying you done need anything that expensive, you can take good photos with a cheaper camera, if it gets lost or stolen it won't hurt as much. While those are good points, especially in my area, I don't want to buy a .. let's say eos50 or eos t7 rebel if I'm not gonna like it, and I feel the body for the a6400 is more discreet which is quite necessary where I'm from. Anyways great video 😅
I'm torn between the S5IIX and the A7IV. My use cases are TH-cam videos (Cinematic (think Gawx Art), talking head, and B-Roll, as well as professional photography (weddings, portraits, pets, cars, etc...). Literally the ONLY thing that has me torn is the slightly inferior AF on the Lumix (from what I've heard at least). I would hate to miss a candid wedding shot because it wouldn't focus... I'd love to hear your thoughts Terry?
