- Happy Birthday, Siyeon! As always, her vocals are incredibly impressive. That live performance particularly blew me away. I looked it up and it seems to be an EXO song that I don't know?

Actually, Faded isn't a rock song. Siyeon's Faded is rock version, just like Overdose, which is a song by EXO

We All Lie is the opening theme of Sky Castle, one of the biggest kdramas of 2019. Its about the ambition, pride, hypocracy of the elite.
Faded is an EDM track. LEEZ and Ollounder often remixed their earlier covers into a rock version. Give the original a listen. It was a global hit and you'll appreciate Siyeon's version that much more. They also did it for EXO's Overdose which was the last video.
All of DC covers are better than originals :> Plus, LEEZ and Ollounder remake their own tracks for most of it..

faded by allen walker wasn't rock actually, it was more edm. DC just put they rock touch to it. Just like their cover for "Havana"

Actually Siyeon does have a solo. It's called Paradise and it was released like a week ahead of Scream, but it was still included with the album. It also ties in with their Dystopia storyline. It got it's own special clip so you can react to it. Love your videos too btw.
Dreamcatcher gives its own style to the covers, which makes you like them the same or more than the originals, period! Overdose is a song of EXO, and she have a solo song called Paradise. Happy Siyeon Day :3

Siyeon's Speechless is def way better, but I thought the original was pretty good too. The actress for Jasmine was like the only one in the movie who could actually sing lol; she just completely outsung the rest of the cast.

The original Faded by Alan Walker has no rock element in it. Dreamcatcher's producer make even their covers more fitting for dc with rock and metal elements.
Siyeon can sing anything and do any concept .. I am a weak for blonde Siyeon specifically... Any cover becomes her songs just like any DC group, solo, duo and trio covers become their covers. Their sound and outfits for their “Lucky Shot” is a style I definitely enjoyed on them, especially Siyeon’s, it is how I would dress.
Yes, I love her low tone and her damn falcento and vabrato. Hell her voice in general. The DC girls and Siyeon are definitely under rated and under appreciated. I have been trying to get other friends that I know that like KPop to some degree into DreamCatcher. The only reason I ended up getting EXO’s “Overdose” is because of how many times I listened to Siyeon’s rockified cover.. DreamCatcher seems to have a rule for covers- no changing the pronouns and I love it.
Solar did a cover of Speechless and she also killed it because she can also sing anything.
The fact that disney official gives Siyeon's cover of speechless a round of applause in the comments still makes me proud whenever i see it

she win on this performance...but actually, its so sad that she lose against Yeonjung at the final. also a top performer in this show, and her greatest rival. Yeonjun was a former I.O.I. main vocalist, (disbanded) and now, in WJSN (Cosmic Girls) main vocal.

As a huge fan of Alan Walker I can tell you that Siyeon totally killed it with her own version.
The original song is an EDM song.
The singer has a really unique voice so I think it's great that she made her own version of it instead of trying to copy the singing style and the feeling of the original.
Im surprised you didn't know about Alan Walker he's very famous in Europe.
He actually worked with Lay from EXO once.

I'm kind of a newbie to Kpop, but I haven't seen another kpop vocalist on the same level as Siyeon.
As a huge fan of Dreamcatcher I’m obviously quite biased when I say that I agree with you, but you may also like Taeyeon. Another amazing vocalist from Girl’s Generation who is now a soloist. Siyeon did a partial cover of one of Taeyeon’s songs called “Eraser” which is well worth checking out!
Edit: Lol, I was only half way through the video while writing this and realised eraser is covered here already so um... nvm 😂

Dreamcatcher usually put rock sound for the covers, it's different from the original. for example: Havana, Lucky Strike, Faded. i recommend checking out the original to get a feel before watching DC's versions haha
We All Lie is the OST for the drama Sky Castle. Siyeon and a lot of the other members loved that drama so much, so Siyeon decided to do a cover. One of my kdrama is Sky Castle and We All Lie is also one of my fave ost and it was on my repeat playlist but then i just also found it late that Siyeon made a cover to it and yes, Siyeon owned that ost and I love it so much than the original!!

Honestly I don’t listen to the original songs anymore. I remember hearing “Really Really” at a restaurant and wondered why the pitch was lower then realized that it’s the original song. I’m so used to DC’s cover lol

I think you just might be young that's all haha. The new versions of Mulan, Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, and Lion King are all bad in my opinion. Love all the animated ones

So i came here for the reaction to Siyeon's "speachless", as expected all of them where absolutely amazing. I think overdose was part of the show Mix nine (which they eventually left, which i think you saw in the history of dreamcatcher video "dodging disbandment and other extreme sports") where they competed against other idol groups. Pretty sure Dami also had a great perfomance too.
