How to Fold (ROLL) Bath Towels Like a Pro | Judi the Organizer

Here is each bath towel rolling instructions:
Roll#1
1. With your towel folded in half and lay it on a flat surface.
2. Grab the top left corner of the towel and fold it over bringing the fold to the center. Make sure the corner is on the same line as the right corner
3. Take the bottom corner of the towel and overlap the fold you just did. Can you see the rectangle????? I do!
In order for the fold to come out neat you have to pay attention to this next part.
4. Pinch both sides at the same point, lift, and fold with the bottom of the towel folding under like so.
5. Pull the top folded portion down a bit so that it is shorter than the bottom fold. Also, make sure this fold is a bit smaller as well so as you roll, all imperfections are inside the roll.
6. Roll up until you meet the top portion and when you do tuck in the last piece in the middle.
Roll#2
1. With your towel folded in half and lay it on a flat surface.
2. Take the bottom left corner of the folded towel and bring it to the top creating a triangle
3. flip it over and Take the left and right sides and fold towards the center overlapping each other like so.
4. Once you have this envelope shape, flip the towel over with the fold facing down
5. Now start rolling. With a tight grip, roll up until you get to the peak or highest point which is a corner piece
6. Tuck the last piece into the closest pocket and you're done!
Roll#3
1. With your towel open, Lay your towel horizontally on a flat surface.
2. Take the top left corner and fold it down meeting the midpoint of the towel creating a triangle on the left side, like so.
3. Grab the top of the towel and fold it down meeting the bottom portion, like so.
4. So in step 4 you're going to Flip it over, turn it vertically and start your roll. Tightly roll up and as you roll and clean it up if you notice any gathering or bends in the towel.
5. Once you roll to the top, tuck in the last piece in the top pocket of the roll and you are done!

I did the 2nd way first and liked it. However when I did the 3rd way, it produced a longer roll, so I stayed with that, due to the depth of my linen closet shelves. I could make better use of my shelf space with longer rolls. Thx! And I agree with everyone who loves your voice.

That looks pretty. What also works and is much easier. Is just pull towel out of dryer and while standing there just fold towel in half lengthwise and then roll it up the long way . No need for a table or flat surface no extra steps no moveing the laundry anywhere . It doesnt lock the fold in since there's no truck but nobody cares and I'm out of the laundry room faster.

I think I have a towel. That’s just an odd shape because number one and number three both don’t really have a place to tuck in, but all these worked with my other towels so thank you.

The last part is the one I use. A friend of mine sent me the video from Facebook. If I fold my towels they don't all fit in my cupboards; but rolling them is perfect and I love it because I buy the extra large beach towels for my pool area. So simple to do!

Thank you! It is a bit tough with thick towels but it can happen if you tightly roll. Instead of rolling, you can fold them. I have a video on 3 ways to do so as well!

So cool for guest bathrooms when having parties or get togethers. I unfolded some towels to try all three and lay them side by side to see which i liked best. Great problem to have is I couldnt decide 😅😅😅
Yea having rolled towels makes any space look put together. Let me know which one you like the best. If it’s difficult to figure out, see which one you can do the fastest and neatest.

I tried the last folding technique and found that it actually worked even easier if I DIDN'T flip it over before I started rolling👍

Same. Seems the towel needs to be square?? All mine are too rectangular to come out correctly. The triangle shape takes more than half the towel, so no nice pointy bits, alternatively bits sticking out on the side. Still, better than before. I have, among others, Ikea's biggest bath towels.

I've seen roll #1 in a lot of videos and it's really similar to this one, but it doesn't work on a lot of towels. It doesn't work on any of mine actually 😅 the proportions of my towels are wrong. #2 is so similar but you can adjust it to work with different towels and you can control how long the folded towel is at the end. It's perfect, thank you so much, I'm so glad I found this video
Perhaps you have towels that are sized different to what I have
You may just have larger towels than the ones I rolled. I have a video coming out soon where I show how to roll/fold larger rectangular towels.
How do we do the smaller hand towels? They’re not exactly square

I’ve tried three different size towels. I’ve tried two of your methods and none of them work. I cannot get them to look anything like what you make yours look like.

Here’s a fix. During step two, instead of making a perfect triangle, there should be a 3 inch border on the right side. Then continue with Judy’s instructions and it turns out right. Just keep practicing.

Are you sure? I recently rolled my clients towels with the first roll method and it worked perfectly.
Keep trying! I had to keep adjusting the length before rolling TIGHTLY & finally made it happen.
I have bath sheets. These dont seem to be as easy with big, thick towels.
The second time I heard bath sheets. I need to look them up lol.
