- On April 14th 2022, we tried for the first time to travel again to Malaysia by car.
Updated immigration + highway fares for private car (March 2023):
1. Singapore Immigration SGD 0.80
2. Malaysian immigration MYR 20 + MYR 2.37
3. 1st highway in Johor MYR 2.10
4. 2nd highway - tap only
5. Highway Exit Malacca MYR 20.34
Total SGD 0.80 + MYR 44.81

How many petrol stops did you make? , planning to drive there soon..
From Spore normally we drive all the way to malacca and pump petrol before going back Spore in malacca town before highway. And another pump in JB before entering custom. So total 2 times.
Do you know if I can cross the causeway without sufficient fund in my touch n go card?
Hi, I think you need sufficient fund in your touch n go to enter.. when we went there in April and May, there are alot of touch n go staff walking around providing top up service, so I am not sure now. If you have about 23Myr, should be enough to enter.

Where did you stay and how was the parking at the place of stay?
Hi, we stayed in Ibis melaka.. alot of parking lots just behind the hotel, quite safe and walking distance to some of the food places.

Immigration? not at all... but the mysejahtera apps for check in at all venues, i think now, started 1st may not needed anymore

I think about 3hrs ... depends on your speed, 110km/hr max speed in Malaysia
