This is ideal. Very similar to another recent one. I think this may be my design. Saving it for a future time when I am ready to build. May be this year, maybe not. It depends on many things.
It's a cute place, and I like the natural wood siding and the metal roof. The window/wall between the kitchen and the living room needs to be either a solid wall or to be eliminated. There appears to be a pantry closet near the dining table. I would never have an open fireplace (gas or woodtove insert would be alternatives) and would never stick a TV up so high. But otherwise it's charming little home.
Small, but very nice two bedroom, 1.5 bath home. You put your space where it counts in the living areas which are always better than putting it in the bedrooms; however, these bedrooms do feel pretty small. I would certainly remove that window area between the kitchen and dining room but I might keep the lower side panel to keep kids out of the kitchen. I would also reverse the half bath and laundry area so that I could vent the dryer straight outside. Although a drip dry about 40% of my laundry, they can drip dry over the toilet if necessary. Is that a pantry or in mechanical room in the dining area? If it’s a pantry, it’s much needed.
I like this one and the smaller version you recently posted. I do prefer the wood siding, but the rock was nice, too. This lay-out is great, and no complaints. Love it! Just a couple of things I would tweak for my own, personal taste, if I were to build. I would change the fire place to wood burning stove like the first version. Visually, I prefer the fire place, but the wood burning stove is more practical. I would change the fixed kitchen island to one on wheels, might even delete it and divider wall, and do a bigger table???? I see benefits and drawbacks of each. Great job.
Good point. Water heater could be instant or go in pantry. Maybe rework laundry/bath area to one room to accommodate all with stackable unit to make room for furnace.
I always want to see inside the pantry 😅
Beautiful house

I'm impressed by the amount of cupboards and closets in a smaller home. Very nice design and very pretty decorating. 😊
This design is one of my favorites.
❤❤❤
I need this in Big Bear. 🌲

Thank you!! 😊
I like it but ,that halfwall between the kitchen and the living room has got to go. It takes needed space and disturbs the flow.
Agree.

Where are the water heater and furnace?

The kitchen won't work because you won't be able to open up the refrigerator doors fully. You'll never be able to pull out the drawers to clean them.
Where is the heating cooling system?
