- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is a pretty good harry potter game. Out of the wide variation of harry potter games this one isn't the best but isn't the worst. The music is still great. Changing between Harry, Ron, and Hermine is a nice change. Exploring Hogwarts is still fun and the snow is beautiful in game. And Buckbeak seems to have replaced the quidditch mini game. My biggest problem is using spells it can be just plain hard to hit enemies. Well anyways like always I hope you enjoy this longplay.

Beats me. This was the first game wich knocked me out with it's open world. I loved the huge map so much and the fact, that everything was reachable. Back then nothing could've beat the PS2!

Same. I couldnt get past the point where you needed like 3 plants somewhere at the beginning of the game, so I just spent running around outside hogwarts lol.

I love how every time Ron finds a spell book, something dangerous immediately starts happening and ruins his moment of excitement lol

The memories man my god this game was perfect , I hated everything back then but I remember being so happy playing this and having so much fun especially playing buckbeak and hearing the music and the score and also playing chamber of secrets and forgetting all the bullshit I faced , I wish I could go back

Never realised how much this PC version differed to the PS2 version. Back when games weren't all ports of each other with slightly different graphics and frame rate I suppose. Think I preferred the PS2 version myself
I strongly prefer the PS2/Xbox/GC version. I like the PC version, but this version is so much better! Way better spell challenges, collecting potion ingredients, more enemy variety, very well designed outside area, flying Buckbeak around, casting spells at others, Hedwig, more humor, etc.!

At that time, I didn't understand English. So I spent all my playtime doing things randomly until the event triggered and finish the game with lot of misunderstanding XD. Y'know, how fun was that when you were a child. The game became so long when you don't know where to go.
I used to be scared so much when those black cloak Dementors came in the train.

My game came with a ticket to the movie. This soundtrack is so classic, I haven't heard it since like 2005 but it instantly brought back tons of memories. Its so good.

Chamber of secrets and prisoner of azkaban were my all time favorites and I put the most time into and the amount of time I replayed them is ridiculous lol
Can't get that same feeling anymore though I play it once and its over for me lol

if you want to play with keyboard and mouse, you can download an emulator for ps2 that can play ps2 games on pc

I think HP1 and HP2 were better (even though graphics were worse of course).

Never played this PC version (only the PS2 version) so thanks for clearing that up. Even the train part at the start seems better than the PC version as you unexpectedly started taking control of Ron and had to drag Harry away from the Dementor. Also fighting Malfoy on the train was better than him simply releasing the book of monsters. Very interesting changes between the different versions
1:33:33 is one of the most relaxing parts of the game I think. It eventually starts raining. Great atmosphere.

Not going to lie every time that the Dementor approached you while you were trying to retrieve the Patronus spell book and he was right behind you I kept on getting anxious LOL

Man.. This ps2 version was waaaaay better than the PC one.. I just recently purchased 1,2 & 3 for PC for the nostalgia but they are horrible! nothing like the Playstation ones.

The dopest Harry Potter videogame ever made.
I love this game but at the same time I have a sadness feeling for it. When I first got it I played it all day and finished it that same night. I felt really disappointed :( But I still go back to it and listen to its Soundtrack all the time because it's fantastic

The final battle with the dementors is suffering from audio errors.

Is it actually possible to lose the house cup? I once sped through the game not collecting as much to see if it is, and I still ended up winning. I do recall that you can avoid a challenge shield at one point.

I don’t remember this much loading screens.
I think we tend to block it out as kids. I don't remember it either but playing alot of older games now...heck even new games. I find myself staring at a loading bar or spinning circle for a long period of time. And the times when it's less than 5 seconds I've really come to appreciate.
