They are a different type of artist to myself. They offer hyper specialised high quality commoditised. I'm a generalist who is commercially focused on providing different skills and styles to clients. Where did you read this information? £80,000 to earn as an artist in London is well above the average. But I don't begrudge talented artist earning their money. Salaries are too low in London for the average motion designer. A senior motion designer is lucky to find a job offering more than £60,000. For London that is not enough money.
Wow, so many different conversations here. AI, use it as a tool and learn about it to make your life easier. Agreed on the UK but sadly was born here and can't go anywhere because of Brexit
If you are tired of London, you are tired of life" means that London offers so much in terms of culture, diversity, and experiences that if you find yourself bored or uninspired by the city, you are likely to be bored or uninspired by life itself, as it is considered one of the most vibrant cities in the world; this quote is attributed to the 18th-century writer Samuel Johnson. So I hope you will recover!
YT randomly served up this vid. Agree UK economy is on the downward while prices & rent keep rising. We escaped in 2018. Zero regrets. Just look up how many skilled Polish workers have left since Brexit. Ai will certainly be a factor in creative industries… 🤖 Just keep doing what you love. ❤️ Best of luck back in Ireland. 🇮🇪 Subbed to get you to your goals. 🔔
I have a polish friend who left awhile back. They have has a similar experience to yourself. They are happy they left. So I’m hoping it all works out. Appreciate the subscription and supportive comment. Great to hear a successful migration story from the UK. Dziękuję 🇵🇱
Not now, but in two years, motion graphics may face significant challenges. When assessing technology, it's important to focus on the progress and pace of improvement rather than current capabilities. The good news is that Human + AI is greater than AI alone. However, in my corporation, only about 2-5% of people are making an effort to learn AI. For those who do, there will be plenty of opportunities!
Its a complex topic. But I agree with you point. We all need to be upskilling and adding as many tools to keep on top of our games. Its tough and requires putting in extra hours but it gives us the best chance to give clients value.
Really interesting video, good to hear your thoughts on AI and how the industry is at the moment. Good luck with the move to Ireland and a fresh start, good for the soul!
@@bubbatheg there is a case for AI taking over on more entry level job but I do think economics are the main driving factor especially for smaller studios and medium sized businesses.
@@BoldBreak For me it was. I wasn’t happy for a while and craved fresh food, nature and a slower pace-better quality of life in general. It’s been five months for me, it’s challenging professionally but feels right in all other aspects.
Breaking out of the UK? That's bold. All the best.
This might be the best comment of 2024 ❤️
Great talk and I wish you the best on your journey. :)
@@StepanHKA Love your channel!! Thank you for taking the time to watch.
Don't worry. Russian motion/3d designers like Jama Jurabaev and Vladislav Solovjov will took your job (*they both earn about £80 000/year in london)
