Every day is Saturday in retirement. The earlier, the better. Even though we hope for above-average longevity, nothing is guaranteed, and planning is a way to get you to retirement faster. Thanks, Jacob!
Great Video, I was wondering, I'm worried about working with a retirement planner, cause the money I have in my retirement can't be made up if one gives the wrong advice. Do you know how the payment structure is for using an advisor, and is there key items to ask when choosing an advisor.
When changing jobs, are there more advantages to rolling a 401K to an IRA versus rolling into a new 401K? I heard Dave Ramsey mention this the other day and found it intriguing but with little to back it up.
Eh unfortunately the answer is “it depends.” Few things to consider: Do you have decent investment options in the 401k? Do you need to do Backdoor Roth contributions? Generally, I like rolling over to IRA so you have more control of your money, but depends on your situation.

You got it, David! Life is for living.
@@RetirementAnswers My goal is to reach age 114 and have a million hours logged before checkout. Imagine the compounding!😅
