- What do the jungle and a parade square have in common?
The Welsh Guards deployed to Jamaica in February to hone their jungle warfare skills.
They’ll be using those same skills - but in a very different way - on the streets of London during the Coronation.

I'd argue with the Major saying "The jungle is the hardest environment to operate in". The Artic is definitely way more harder to operate in, the Artic is the harshest environment of them all
both of them are bloody hard . the jungle is so humid and everything there wants to eat you alive . and the arctic wants to freeze you to death. you are knackered in both . retired 3 company . CYMRU AM BYTH . good luck bois .

Yeah the enemies are landing daily on home soil. These guys are doing nothing about it out preparing for something that’s not going to happen rather than something that is happening in the uk.

I live not far from breacon climbed pen y fan and con do if that's how you spell it then got very foggy so went back down and I think 3 got lost up their that day
Best way to survive this would probably be doing some stamina or tough training for at least a few months I think before joining, Looks seriously tough.

mmm, I am from Jordan in the middle east. I used to work with the British army while I had been a 2nd lieutenant in Jordan Army. what I see strange here in this video is that some British soldiers hold the American rifle m16...... the others hold the British SA80....how come!!!! all in all, I respect the British Army, especially the POACHERS - a battalion I worked with ....my best regards to Sam Wilson a platoon commander who used to be my counterpart on the British side 20 years ago, now I think he is a brigadier with a top rank...
The exercise was done in conjunction with Jamaican soldiers who use M4s & M16s.
A warrant officer who clearly drank and smoked his way to promotion…..
You can tell none of those officers were out with the boys. Clean cams, not even any sweat around the edge of that collar. Pathetic

Because we work with allies who work in jungle environments.
And, as they said, it’s the hardest environment to train in in the world. If they succeed there, then can succeed anywhere
