Frankie looks amazing!!! A.G.A.M 😂 is my go to method as well! That string method is actually a legitimate DIY way to align a car, this will video is another Gem on this channel! Sucks about the caster camber plates not holding! The footage from the parade was awesome, I would enjoy watching more 😂🤘
most cars have different track width front and rear. So if you put the string against both front and rear wheels, you end up with a line that is not parallel to the car's centerline. To get a parallel string, take the difference in front/rear track width, divide by 2, and set up the string with that half track width difference measurement. So if the rear is wider than the front, the string should be half that track difference farther away from the front hub, than it is to the rear hub. If the string touches both leading and trailing edges of the wheel, but the string isn't parallel to the car, the wheels are likely toe'd in.
@@89G I run the Eibock pro kit 1 1/2”-2” drop and Koni reds. if I’m cutting hard across the highway the ruts where trucks have been driving makes me feel like my rear end has lost a control arm, the bump steer is real and that’s not even lowered that much so I picked up the PBR kit because they’re all the same just different prices and I’ll let you know in a couple of days
I'll definitely mess with it more when I get the SVE C/C plates in there. It's kind of fun making a small adjustment(s) and seeing how it changes how the car handles/steers.
@@89G toe makes massive differences. I was watching to see if you had new tricks but it seems we do sht the same. It’s the caster/camber I need to learn more about. That leveling tool is something I gotta get my hands on
@@89G I agree I tend not to buy cheap tools, doesn’t mean you gotta go buy snap on but I like to have good tools around, ones that I can rely on those cheap ones will let you down at the worst possible time
I definitely have to do this, thanks for the refresher! That string line method looks easier than measuring the front wheels against each other. Which caster camber plates did you say you have now? I put the SVE ones on and I'm hoping they're good. The parade looks like it was super fun!
Hello "The Eight Nine Garage" I saw that in your channel have some problems. For these problems your channel is not much growing. Not getting much engagement. That neighborhood looks very peaceful and united. ❤️ Frankie has lots of fans.
@@rr122608 I was pleasantly surprised how many people called out to me!
Nice wheels and headlights, same on my baby
It's a nice, clean combo! I'm happy with them.
Frankie’s hood is looking fire! 🔥 ❤
@rr122608 thank you! I love how it looks too! It's a little difficult to keep clean though, lol.

@MrBlitzkrieg1987 haha, yeah - I am not really happy with the plates. I've tightened the nuts as tight as I dare go... thanks Luis!

Thanx bro I’m doing a bump steer kit and this vid is gonna help in the end. 🤘😎🤘🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺Cheers
Right on.... I am very curious how that bump steer kit turns out for you.

Give it an 1/8 toe out and handling improves greatly the trade off is they will follow every rut in the road but damn it’s fun
