I would not expect any blockbuster trades in the near future. This season will be about who hangs around for the rest of the rebuild. Can Vessel stay healthy. Who on the roster is going to step up and how far. Who do they pick up in the 2025 draft? If a big trade comes along, it won’t be until next season when SA has a clearer idea of what they have and what they need.
They should have kept Malachi flynn. Tre jones is good and has the overall better stats but he just doesn’t have that it factor no dog in him. The few minutes we saw of flynn in preseason he was playing hard/ being a pest and not afraid to shoot the three ball. His numbers could improve but having that outside shooting threat from your backup pg could really improve the spacing and open up the floor for the second unit. Cp3s mentorship would have really helped his overall game too.
This season is all about development and who the Spurs can get in the crazy deep 2025 draft. Get those 2 potential lottery picks right, and it transforms the organization down the road.
I want them to get the big from Duke to either backup wemby or play alongside him....He's an African defender probably better defender than bassey and is a shooter...was last seen giving AD business in the olympics

I would not pencil in Wemby as DPOY. He could be denied for the same reason he was denied last season: team defense is not that good.
