Arguably, he was never in his prime. *Moreso it's how good was he 'at his best'?* i.e. pre any serious injuries. He got badly injured near his physical prime. A bit like Michael Owen, it;s obvious that sort of crazy -explosive play style (in football) puts too many demands on the body.
@@beejj6190 Yeah good point, "prime" just refers to their best period rather than what could have been if that makes sense. Only getting worse with how compact the fixture list has become. Young players who are talented play so many games so early on. Pedri, Gavi, Yamal etc.
@@YourFootballZone - Respect, bredda. I just like to differentiate between a 'footballing prime' and actual physical prime. And , yes, what we are seeing is talenetd players (typically with seriously high footballing IQs) being used younger and younger. Shame a sense of club responsibility isn't placed on the number of games these superkids are allowed before say age 19...
thank you for saying what was needed to be said people said 9 people are better at dribbling and there are videos calling him overated and there just salty
Imagine being nicknamed, “The Phenomenon.” You don’t just get a random nickname like that at all. Fans deliberately gave R9 that nickname because he was a phenomenon in the pitch. No other football has had a nickname on the same caliber like R9. I wanted to prove his greatness using a different point instead of just saying how PEAK of a football player, which he was.
"if you told fans who were watching ronaldo that there would be two guys called messi and cristiano who would come and out-do R9's level of skill, entertainment and success, they would laugh in your face" I think success is the only thing they clearly out did him in.. skill - debateable.. hes one of the most skillful players ive ever watched. Entertainment - definitely not, hes definitely the most entertaining player ive ever watches. success - they completely blow him away here..
Where does R9 rank amongst the greatest ever? 🤔👇
Top 5 u decide
atleast top 10 maybe even top 5

R9 is Greatest of All Time.
If i were to create my favorite 11 of all time, he'd be the danger man with Henry as the potential sub just in case imo.
