If anyone has this pedal, remember that if you put the modifier on stability and you turn the size to zero, you can literally get a generation loss sound almost exactly. Then you add the filters either high pass or Lopez and there you go I was gonna buy the generation loss, but I didn’t because I realize I can do it with this pedal. I also have warped vinyl so that helps. Just wanted to let y’all know. great video as always.
I know you probably want to use pedals, but there are a lot of great plugins for lofi effects that are dirt cheap and the gen loss effect is the kind of effect people would use to record with anyway. Oh by the way thank you for the tip that is a great idea.
Man, generation loss does something completely different. Stability is a very limited function that changes sound linearly and only in a few parameters. Blooper and Habit both have Stability feature, but it can't replace all the opportunities Generation Loss gives
Great stuff as always. Just wanted to say, an added benefit of your videos is that, because you dont talk, I can play them while I'm driving as not only great music but introducing me to cool pedals. Your DBA Rooms one is especially beautiful. Cheers mate
i really like this. Its a paradigm shift from what id usually be into, but it has a childish kind of feeling to it, and i like that. A playful innocence
Sounds cool. Would love it to sit alongside my Alexander Radical Delay dx and Memory Boy. Would be super lush with my vintage Casio. Lovely video as always. Love and peace
in really like this machine this unsettle way of looping/echo etc , i am intended to link to the count to 5 , to make its randomness more wider ......surely there will be many parameters , maybe too many .....but why not experimenting it
@Leo Good thing you said "literally". I 'd hate for anyone to think you were speaking rhetorically. Or hyperbolically. Or ironically. Thank you for making that distinction.
No one replied so, here it is, 4 months late -- Habit has two banks of three modifiers each for six total, and you can only choose one to use at any time. Blooper lets you use one from each bank AND the stability tape simulation all at the same time. The stability knob from the Blooper is now the second modifier in Bank A
This pedal seems unusable unless you're just looking to make a mess, which of course, can be fun. But, I can make already make a pretty good mess of things with what I have. Not sure who the customer is for this.
This pedal does have a tap tempo and I am assuming clock integration, so you can stay in time when recording. Very usable with midi, but honestly seems better for improv and coming up with ideas. If you’re looking for strictly usable and straightforward, there are better less-interesting pedal makers than chase bliss out there for you. This is for the ambient explorer/experimenter, similar to their mood pedal.
It’s okay to admit you do not understand something as opposed to just talking shit about it. Lol it’s a deep pedal I got it when it first dropped and I still am figuring it out but there ways to implement it live it’s all in how you are playing and you need to play it straight in key
this is the pedal that tricks everyone into playing jazz.
😂 nice one

This! I love listening to demos while driving. Your’s are my favorite to listen to. Ambient soundscapes for days.

Bought. Can't wait to get it and spend hours messing with this thing. If I can tame it and be worthy of its ownership, I'll feel honored.

Do you recommend this pedal for "modern" Slowdive shoegaze?

Can it be called a collab with Knobs if he’s literally their Director of Product Developement?

This is too much fun. Great job! Btw, does it take two modifiers at once or just one?

I think those 2 (the developers) have a habit alright. lol. They are addicted to this kinda stuff XD

Great video, but will this pedal ever play the same thing twice?

The customer is me, because I would like to incorporate weird, glitched out noises into my more conventional songs.
