    I’m not sure if anyone else asked this but if I wanted to make this a little wider, how long would the initial chain be? For kids you said do a chain of 60 and adults a chain of 72, am I right to say that as long as you do it in increments of 12 it will work and I could make it slightly bigger if need be? This is sooo BEAUTIFUL btw! 😊

    I don’t usually make cowls, because I don’t think I suit the kind that just sits around my neck - I feel I look like a tortoise/turtle peering out of its shell! I do like this, though. I could pull it up like a hood, which would give a completely different look, and I would not even have to wear a hat with it. I can see a cowl project in my near future. Thank you, Jayda. 😀

    • @JaydaInStitches
      @JaydaInStitches  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, this entire pattern is built using that stitch, so the foundation chain count, row count and the tension etc. all tie into that particular stitch. That said, I can't recommend another stitch pattern for use with this Cowl pattern without trying one out. We have other cowls patterns that can be made extra deep for wearing as a hood here: th-cam.com/play/PLU-tvdaf-FndEGqFxGh3DhP_Ge865t-ib.html
