It's good to see the Duke of Kent out and about performing royal duties again. He his mobility issues kept him from royal duties for nearly a year. It's just good to see him again.
Thank you for leading with the news about the King of Norway. Glad he's back in Norway again. Hopefully his infection clears soon so he can get his pacemaker. Getting a pacemaker is not uncommon, and will help extend his lifespan. My mother has had one for many years.
He has been carrying out Royal duties for more than 50 years, now despite having had a stroke. Before that he served with distinction in the army. Like Her Late Majesty, whom he always supported, his has been a life of service and duty.
I sure hope King Harald will make it okay through this health crisis. It's kind of risky to leave Norway with all the health problems he has, and at 87 it's a risk really for anybody. I think it's time for Haakon to take the helm. Thank you Alexandra, not too much happening today with the Royals.

First, with Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales having major abdominal surgery, His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom having a correct procedure for an enlarged Benign Prostrate and then diagnosed with form of Cancer and His Majesty King Harald V of Norway's ongoing health issues (i.e. infections and respiratory issues.)
King Harold's health has been worrisome. The symptoms are just coming fast and furious and yeah, we can just hope and pray for the best. Do want to be a negative Neely, but things do look a little bleak from where we are sitting.
Similar situations for the British and Norwegian royal families, with a king dealing with medical issues and the heir filling in on some duties while also concerned by his wife's well-being. Wasn't Crown Princess Mette-Marit reported ill recently with a chronic condition?
Hi, Sharon! 🙂 Regarding, The Crown Princess, she was diagnosed with chronic Pulmonary Fibrosis. While her engagements are limited due to her disease, it's wonderful to see her participating in events.
King Harald V will be joining an increasingly large club of pacemaker recipients, some of us in the club have not reached our 80s before joining. God bless the King Harald V!
I don't understand why he had to travel to the other side the world for a retreat at his age. I am sure there are many equally good ones nearer in Europe.

I'm wondering if the King and Queen of Norway took along their personal physician on their holiday or did he jump on a plane to go there as fast as possible. Since the king has complicated medical conditions, that would make sense. But what a long, long distance for the elderly king to travel!
Yub .half a world away luckily it Malaysia .there's plenty of excellent hospital in the country govt n private hosp with spore nearby. What if the were vacationing in Bali???9
