This worked perfectly, Bluetooth and all, and this is awesome. Thanks! One thing this video should mention is that you need to disable driver signature enforcement in order for the drivers to load from MotionInJoy, otherwise it'll seem as if nothing is happening when you click on the "load" button.
Just because you don't know how to work a computer doesn't mean that you have to rip on other people who can. Stop with the petty insults, and be grateful that this guy is generous enough to take time out of his life and make a video so that people can learn how to do this. The video tells you where to point and click. If you aren't competent enough to do that, you need to go back to kindergarten and develop enough hand-eye coordination to move a mouse.
Thanks for this simple tut :) I was using the USB PS3 Tool that you opened and a CMD promnt opened and them you pressed the PS and you are good to go, but didnt support blutooth connection... Sudenlty I oppened that tool again and gives me BLUE SCREEN of DEATH everytime. Thats why I GOOGLEd PS3 bluetooth stuff and this awesome tool came up, download , install and followed your tut to the letter and did work well, even with the SIXAXIS only controller :) Thanks so much :)
Nice program and drivers, just made my day and my racing skill performance increase alot. Really hard trying to race with a keyboard since buttons go a full 100% on activation, joysticks are another thing...
dude that Programm is the best thing I´ve ever seen xD U ca use the controller for everything on the PC thats rly so good. It can do everything it got every option u need to use it for everything. I just love this. I would sell my PS3 if they do something like the "Trophys" on the PC too for every game. I think I would just play on PC then if they do that
That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. But I thought it was just me thinking of random games and that one just happened to stick out. I dismissed the thought when I couldn't think of any time I heard it in that game. Lol
if your having trouble getting the analogue controller to work and you have a ps3 sixaxis without dual shock, try setting the profile to 360 emulator in the quickstart menu. worked for me :D
To all who can't get their analogs to work, all you have to do once it's paired and connected is go to PLAYSTATION 3 mode > Options Direct x Input (at the top) DualShock 3 Save /changes and then try that in game controller panel, and your analogs will now be working. No idea why this works, but it does, and once it's working, you can change it to anymode. Thumbs up if this worked for you, so others can see.
these instructions were easy to follow, but then again if you do something advanced like hooking up a controller meant for the ps3 to the pc then you are supposed to have some computer knowledge.
You HAVE to connect your controller through Bluetooth interface. The mini-USB port is for power, not data. Same thing with the wireless 360 controllers. The cable is only used for power and you have to buy a wired 360 controller to interface with your PC (or wireless dock which is available from Microsoft). Source: I'm a Computer Scientists/Gaming Hardware Enthusiast.
@shooter499 From the main menu of the motioninjoy program press the Playstation 3 options button. There you will see all the buttons for the DS3. Scroll to the bottom and make sure that the D-pad options are correct and that the Axis x, y, Rx, Ry are all correct. (Axis x = Left stick x, Axis Rx = Right stick x)
works great with trust mini bt dongle, motion sensors too :) i play flatout 2 and 3 but it's wery hard to play with motion sensors but great fun! thanks
@dark1rida Try pressing the home button on the controller. If not, uninstall driver/prog completely then shut down the computer, not restart, put it back on and re-install it again, it should work then
@BalistarD3 If you're using a logitech controller, go to it's website, download IT'S drivers, and connect it through bluetooth. Should work better than using MiJ which was meant for SIXAXIS controllers.
To EVERYONE who says that it doesn't find their controller FOLLOW THESE: 1. Go back to the original website and download the LATEST version 2. Install it. 3. When the 'web page' opens up go to 'Driver Manager' (at the top). Make sure your controller is plugged in. Click 'LOAD DRIVER'. 4. After this process (takes a few mins) go back to the Home Page, it should be 'connected' now. If not, restart and do again. 5.Select 'PLAYSTATION 3' on the main page so that you have Analog controls working.
@TellTaleHeart7 Theres is a tool that you open and the CMD promt screens pop ups and then closes, then you press the PS button and your controller is good to go using the USB Cable only, you have to do the same process everytime you connect the controller to the PC. It is called Sixaxis_PS3_Win32_Driver_For_PC and it is simple, I download it trougth QJ.net, so it works.
Go to driver manager tab on DS3 program and install all updates after you have plugged controler in. It will now register the contoller! thumbs up so others will see!!!
SOMEONE HAS TO MAKE A NEW TUTORIAL VIDEO! MotionJoy version 7.1000 is already out, we demand an UP-TO-DATE tutorial. Please emphasize the offline mode because it matters a lot and it doesn't seem to work fine. (Thumbs up if you agree)
@roxayso nope, you are still able to use it on your PS3 as well on your computer, just plug in ur PS3 cable into your PS3 and in your controller and done :)
@o2n0e0a8l Didnt bother me at all. because if you follow the TuT while using the Software, you see that is in your PC Native Language, and also thats why he said and show you to change the Language at the begining of the video ':p
I did this entire thing and installed everything like 3 times, tried every possible solution. I have this all installed on windows 7 64bit, and like most people, my analog sticks are going undetected. They actually worked at first, and I followed the tutorial exactly, but when I tried to connect to my controller via bluetooth, it wouldn't connect, and I noticed the controller profile was set to PS2, so I set it to PS3, but somewhere between trying to connect, and changing the controller profile,
@MrSurface94 If every single one was crossed out including 25, 26,39, then yes, you have to buy a new bluetooth dongle. Before you buy a dongle, make sure it supports EDR 2.0/3.0. Otherwise it won't work.
@Drownedinblood Nvm got it to work. For those that run into this problem like me disconnect your ps3 controller from usb, find a paperclip and hit the reset button at the back then reconnect and pair again it should work.
@Johnnypaogr there is a little hole at the back of the controller. stick something in it and press until you hear a click. Now your controller is reset. All you have to do now is go back to your ps3 and plug it in and then take it out. DONE!
WHAT?! Haha! No way... (Searching TH-cam for various versions)... You...you LIED TO ME! Lol Unless I'm just not finding the right version. But when I hear it on this video, I'm thinking it's off of a soundtrack for a video game, and I still just can't figure it out!
@RadicalLightning Select the xbox 360 emulator and click enable..............I'm not sure if it would work with the bluetooth but I use my controller with an usb cable and all works.........downside is that in the games it shows as xbox controller........
@Jeourj Yeah i have i have the bluetooth but it didnt work, the program does suck. but it didnt screw up my controller either. i have it connected with usb as well. it works perfect that way.
That's the battery information. LOL you can change it under LED on the profiles page. it is originally set on battery information and you can set it to custom.
For those of you that need a bluetooth dongle, I can verify the "iogear gbu421" works great...just search Amazon for it, I have 2 and they both work great!
just coming from the video using the PS Move Navigation controller. Would we follow the same steps to connect the Navigational Controller in stead of the full blown PS3 controller?
@HwaRonson So, in response to your answer, do you need to cut any instructions from this list? If you're playing wired, can't you just plug it in, install the drivers, test it, and then play? And one more question. Would this work on the PC version of BlazBlue Calamity Trigger?
MINE JUST WILL NOT WORK OMFG. I've tried everything! I did everything they say in tutorials, I even used your instructions. Still the PC won't recognize the controller! The LED lights are just flashing! What can I do at this point?? (BTW I even tried 3 different controllers, only one gets recongnized by the pc but it won't work)
-- I think your last option is to install either Windows Vista or Windows 7. I had problems fundamentally because I was using Windows XP at one stage. Just pirate Windows 7 from a torrent website.
@dwtothe3 of course. That would be shit if not xD. I used it like on this video and after that on my PS3 and it worked. U just have to turn the PS3 on without the controller and connect the controller via usb with the ps3 and the ps3 sends the bluetooth data in the controller again and u can play wireless on ps3 again ;)
@ragnsan5 I had this problem for a while but now saw what he did on 2:45 he doesn't explain it what I find wierd but you got to click on "Playstation 2' (POV,Joysticks,Analog Trigger)" and after that enable and test again. motion control won't work on that though
I know the Engrish is hilarious, but please, give this guy a break. He's released this, at no charge, to the public and even went out of his way to create a tutorial video (that is clearly not in his native language) for clueless users.
Do I need a bluetooth dongle to get it to work? Can't figure it out using the PS3 USB cable that came with the console. I got it to work before the update to the software, so I am at a bit of a loss.
when you say drop your dongle away, do you mean get rid of it or take it out reinsert? it took a few weeks just to get the one i have now and i'm gonna be a bit upset if it's faulty and i have to send off for another
This might be a silly question, but if you use the xbox360 controller emulator, does the precision on the analog sticks stay the same, or is it somehow affected by the emulation ?
This worked perfectly, Bluetooth and all, and this is awesome. Thanks! One thing this video should mention is that you need to disable driver signature enforcement in order for the drivers to load from MotionInJoy, otherwise it'll seem as if nothing is happening when you click on the "load" button.

Gotta love the Star Wars music followed by an upbeat tropical steel-drum tune
thank you for the video, this worked like a charm. for those who can't read the language, watch the screen and click what they click, simple.
finally!!!! the rock has comeback to play ps3 on pc....the only thing of about 4 that actually works thank u
Nice program and drivers, just made my day and my racing skill performance increase alot. Really hard trying to race with a keyboard since buttons go a full 100% on activation, joysticks are another thing...
Works great for me; thanks for posting. I am using a cheap bluetooth dongle that I bought on Amazon for ~$1.50 and luckily it still worked fine. :D
dude that Programm is the best thing I´ve ever seen xD U ca use the controller for everything on the PC thats rly so good. It can do everything it got every option u need to use it for everything. Great work man, you've solved my problem !
You're the best !
thanks dude
regardless of language I'm glad you helped me out!
these instructions were easy to follow, but then again if you do something advanced like hooking up a controller meant for the ps3 to the pc then you are supposed to have some computer knowledge.
thank you it took me a few min to get it set with Xpadder!! =)
it's pretty easy to buy a bluetooth adapter for about $1.60 on ebay. Definitely worth grabbing

yes you can in the motion joy U have an option that allows you to select 1° 2° and others controlers

Thanks VERY MUCH for this TUTORIAL ! Great JOB !!!
Go to driver manager tab on DS3 program and install all updates after you have plugged controler in. It will now register the contoller! thumbs up so others will see!!!
THANKS!
and nice song i remember myself like a kid! haha!
thanks again!
READ THIS: remove motioninjoy if you already have it installed, this fixed it for me, just reinstall
@TheXtraGuy ya just don't worry about the pairing bluetooth bit works fine with the cable
@MrTasteLikeChicken Depends game to game, but it will work like any other controller plugged into a PC.

Thanks a lot. I finally got it to work.
@rahulgamer101 1. minecraft does not support 360 controllers. 2. there is a terminal command that you can enter that will enable 360 controls.

@Z2Z2F2 don't think so, all PS3 systems and accessories are bluetooth technology
@MrSurface94 If every single one was crossed out including 25, 26,39, then yes, you have to buy a new bluetooth dongle. Before you buy a dongle, make sure it supports EDR 2.0/3.0. Otherwise it won't work.
thank you.. good job making this tutorial, its very usefull for me.. thumbs up for you.. :)

If your analog stick inputs aren't being read: Make sure you click the pink 'enable' button and then try again
@RadicalLightning Select the xbox 360 emulator and click enable..............I'm not sure if it would work with the bluetooth but I use my controller with an usb cable and all works.........downside is that in the games it shows as xbox controller........
@seltranY
did u try the options too? u can choose modes with analog, without analog, xbox 360 controller emulation, custom etc. ^^
Thanks man! It works perfectly
This I find is amazing, mulitple controllers without USBs

If any problems occur, set the language into English (United States), on previous versions, it has solved many of my problems!
@Fosax you can still use it with the USB cable connected
EPIC MUSIC STARTS @ 00:36
@HwaRonson nice one it works! ^_^ please upload more videos
Ironically, im setting this up for Star Wars lol
@CornbredJr it shouldn't have a problem playing minecraft. I was able to play league of legends, vindictus and WoW on it.
ignore my earlier post, computer wasnt even recognizing the dongle, all is good now
@HwaRonson So, in response to your answer, do you need to cut any instructions from this list? If you're playing wired, can't you just plug it in, install the drivers, test it, and then play? And one more question. Would this work on the PC version of BlazBlue Calamity Trigger?
Thanks! Worked for me! :D
I've heard this song in Girls Gone Wild advertisment on tv and in Leisure Suit Larry 6.
uaaa seems like tombi music XDD some part are similiars to level one. *-* remeber me so much when I was a little boy. Anyhow great music u.u xD
Nice video! what's the name of that song that plays in the video?
MINE JUST WILL NOT WORK OMFG.
I've tried everything! I did everything they say in tutorials, I even used your instructions.
Still the PC won't recognize the controller! The LED lights are just flashing!
What can I do at this point??
(BTW I even tried 3 different controllers, only one gets recongnized by the pc but it won't work)
@ThatAwolKoala It's normal, you mean as a frozen exe? It's ok, you have to wait a little and then pair it with a bluetooth adapter
You can download the drivers for the xbox controller straight from Microsoft, just google it.
the vibration test worked and also the axis test work but I cant play with the controller and yes I did enable it
@Voddgreen well my laptop has built in bluetooth so thats one way to do it without the adapter
7:30 (Is there any difference to PS3 version?) IT"S GOD DAMN PC! BEST GAMING PLATFORM EVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
thanks for the tut bro!
what are your system specs and what games where you playing?
-- I think your last option is to install either Windows Vista or Windows 7. I had problems fundamentally because I was using Windows XP at one stage.
Just pirate Windows 7 from a torrent website.
this makes me want to sing out the instructions on the account that it looks like karaoke.
THIS IS A VISTA x(
So does that mean I don't have any options left?
please, what were the games you play in the end??? tkx
Love the tune!!
@dwtothe3
of course. That would be shit if not xD. I used it like on this video and after that on my PS3 and it worked. thanks a bunch works great u think there is anywasy i could get it to work as a mouse r just to pause and play movies/music?
I know the Engrish is hilarious, but please, give this guy a break. He's released this, at no charge, to the public and even went out of his way to create a tutorial video (that is clearly not in his native language) for clueless users.

@qtopthisq how do you get the analogs to work???
