I love the Settes down! I’m so sad this is Shelbie’s last year but it’s been amazing seeing her bloom & I missed seeing my fav JK this week 👢💙✨ 4 more games, end it with a bang ladies.
Week 11//Congratulation Golden Passionettes and Dancing doll divas (3D)❤love that you chosen two new 1 and 2 place❤Thanks to all HBCU dances for another great weekend always remember you all are beautiful and amazing. Thanks Morgan❤❤🙏🙏
When Cilla got on the team, she didn’t make cuts for a bit and was sitting on the side cheering the Settes on. She improved, eventually made cuts, and was an ace for the AGES. I was among the people saying that the ladies should dance to at least get the experience to make a mistake and learn from it. Not the big games sure, but every game wasn’t a big game. Problem is we went from cutting down to just five Settes to letting everybody perform each week with 0 cuts. Getting rewarded every time, regardless of mistakes, means there’s no ability to improve. It can’t even be a “we discuss the issues in private” because the same stuff keeps happening. We need a happy medium between too harsh of cuts and absolutely none. On top of all of that, I hate that THIS is Shelbie’s last year. If she wasn’t going to be captain, the alternative should not have been take her away from the middle.
You couldn't have said any of this better, especially in regards to cuts. People always complain(ed) about not being able to see the whole team early within the season; take Cialah's year for example. Clearly, it needed to happen because it gave a lot of the freshmen time to cook for later in the season which I felt like would've helped this year considering the loss of vets. I also do agree with the masses as it pertains to the lack of discipline that this year has showed. Like I said before, I don't know what's going on behind the scenes but I really need them to sharpen up. Furthermore, as much as I ride hard for Bria, I feel like, after the Grambling game, she shouldn't have been able to perform until Homecoming until she perfected her craft. I don't agree with people saying she hasn't improved because clearly, the Bria we are seeing now is different from the one we saw during the Grambling and AAMU game. She knows the material but that confidence needs room to grow. That being said, her not making cuts until Homecoming would have benefited her. I don't condone the personal insults being made toward her, or anyone on the team for that matter. I'm still rooting for Alayah, and the rest of the squad, to at least finish out strong, in spite of the mess ups. I too hate that this is Alayah and Shelbie's last year and it's being overshadowed not only because of the performance value of the squad this year but also because of the cards that were stacked against Alayah the very moment she got announced as captain along with the criticism behind their reveal at Thee Merge.
I always understood the need for cuts & I always said that having them was necessary. Not sure why or if Chloe stopped doing them but they desperately need to come back! Still love my Settes down tho💙 👢
Settes deserved that 7. I hate to admit it. This season had so much potential. Started off good but very lackluster to say the least. This week had so many timing issues.
Alayah had this swag about her during basketball season. I don't know if it's harder to see when she is filmed far away or what, but I want to see it these last games. It really set her apart from her crab sister and past captains

If the Passionettes ever entered the SWAC it would be game over. I give all of my flowers to Hailey. She’s the embodiment of a Classic 2010s Passionette. She gave her all this season, mixed the old with the new, and kept it fresh! She deserves her 10s and MORE!! I hope they give my girls more fast music next season so they can show yall how they really go.
This weekends game Settes vs Stings is going to be so major … I think this has been anticipated all season !! Especially the captains being 2 DD4L sisters 👯♀️ I am going to get my lifeeeeee!!
I love everything about Herb EXCEPT the fact that see wastes SO MUCH music (16-counts) every song. She uses 8 to throw a hand signal & the other 8 of just holding it up. 😭😭😭 It gives off the appearance that she doesn’t know her music bc I know they hear what song is about to be played. 😣😣😣

I just always loved to see them cut up over the years, they are truly unique. I aint gonna lie Passionettes and GGs got to meet up at a BOTB or something at least! I vaguely remember ASU MMH/Stingettes at Albany for a BOTB in 2013 keke year, but I would love to see them battle again! and a passionette vs J sette or even Motion would be interesting. I wish lol but hey anything is possible! One day!
The Settes had a really bad day, and the people going to use this game to try to undermine Alayah’s leadership. They just need to refocus and lock in. They gone sette the scene this Saturday. I can feel it!

To be real, I am expecting a stellar battle from both sides. Because IDK what is it, IDK if its the extra room in the stands or the atmosphere (Oh ppl say it be LIT AF in ASU stadium), but it seem historically every time the J-settes come there, they be ON IT like white on rice in them stands at ASU majority of the time. However, Princess and the Stingettes haven't slacked AT ALL this season, it's an elevating season for the Stingettes, some ppl tried to play Princess/Stingettes lightly before the season began and now they are GAGGED. So I expect both to bring their best!

She does not have the technique down packed and if she does she doesn’t take full advantage of displaying what she got.
