I think Casemiro definitely should be i there. He was probaly Brazil'a best player overall at the world cup, won la liga and the champions league with Madrid. And has played a huge part in completely turning Man United around this season.

Thiago Silva never makes these teams because he's 37 and plays for Chelsea but he's been flawless for Chelsea the last 2-3 seasons.

The problem for me is that Chelsea have been very poor in the second halt of the year
@Hugo 0245 doesn't change how good Silva's been. Without him they'd be bottom half. They wouldn't have been top at the start of last season and they wouldn't have finished top 4. They wouldn't have got to the last 3 cup finals and they wouldn't have won the Champions League. However good or bad Chelsea have been doing they'd have been far worse off without Silva. You can't equate team performances with individual ones. It's like even if Spurs don't finish top 4 this season that doesn't change the fact that Kane is having an unbelievable season. People underestimate how easy it is to look good when you're playing in a top team. Not saying they aren't great defenders but the likes of Stones are playing alongside world class players in ever position and under Pep Guardiola. If you threw Stones in a weaker side there would be more times where he's caught out alone or concedes a lot of goals in a game. There's definitely an element of luck involved in that you can be a brilliant player but you may not get recognition unless you're playing for one of the best teams.

I actually can't believe Andrew Robertson wasn't nominated. He's constantly getting overlooked in these things, he's been one of the best and most consistent LB'S over the past 4.5 years.
He didn’t have a good 2022 he was mediocre for a chunk of the season with Tsimikas replacing him in a lot of games, he’s been of the best for the last couple of years and now seems to be getting back to his high standards. But doesn’t deserve to be in the team as for no nomination I’m not sure

It would depend on what 1 game it is, if the 7 games are 7 normal games and the 1 game is a final of a big trophie like a UCL final or a WC final, then i would choose the 1 game, but if it's not the case then the 7 game option.

Hakimi - Stones - Silva - Hernandez
Modric - Casemiro - De Bruyne
Messi - Benzema - Mbappe
Swap Haaland for KDB in Jamies team and then you got the right team. Haaland has scored a bunch of goals over 3 months not enough to get in this team.
