I love how all of Eduardo's rage is at Mark. Even though Sean is berating him a lot in this scene, Eduardo barely acknowledges him or even looks at him. Eduardo is showing that Mark was his friend and the one who betrayed him, while Sean is a nobody in his eyes.
And sean still wont stop talking even when he keeps asking questions to mark
It’s not just that Parker is nothing to Eduardo, you’re right about that, but also, he knows that Parker is someone he can handle, physically, financially, mentally, in every way possible. Not only is Parker not worthy of Eduardo’s attention, but Eduardo essentially has back turned to him nearly the whole time as a way of saying “Whatever about you, I can handle you later.” and frankly, I wish he did. Parker’s a little pussy bitch, as demonstrated by his flinch when Eduardo nearly swung at him.
@@iana3892umm how do you normally react when someone taller swings at you?
@@iana3892dodging when someone swings is kinda what you have to do big boy. Unless you like getting hit.
@@itzStrFtw Boy. There’s a difference between trying to dodge and raising your hands up, backing off, and getting ready to cry about it even though you didn’t actually get hit.
Andrew Garfield is the only person who can make me cry over diluted shares
😂😂 I’m fuckking weak
😁😁😁
"I like standing next to you Sean. It makes me look so tough." Awesome line.
Best scene of the movie. Garfield was excellent in it.
The only closest scene where we get to see Bully Garfield.
Andrew Garfield is the heart of this movie. He carries much of the emotional workload in the movie, and his range is insane.
I talked shit about him in the Spider-Man movies minus the last one but I felt stupid for doing so because he absolutely fucking NAILED his role here. One of the best rage scenes I've ever seen.
Love how Eduardo makes Sean flinch- and the security didn't even do anything lol
guards could tell he ”wasnt that guy”
@@badluckdaniel it's good writing because guards in real life an not life villians guards in movies. that just do whatever the boss says and drag someone forcefully unless they are being disruptive. they can't attack him because he simply scared sean... 😂
Lol right, they almost look like his posse as he's leaving
@@victoriaa7128 they probably were hired by him or some manager that he assigned early on and had no idea who the other random suit guy was. I wouldn't put my hand on my past boss because some weirdo did a trick on paper either.
Probably weren’t expecting violence in a room full of nerds.
"I'm not coming back for 30%, I'm coming back as Spider-Man"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
i died when i read this lmao
JJJ wet dream
"Guess what nerd? I'm spiderman!"
"What?"
Yes and i am lex luthor
Regardless of whether this scene really happened or not, Eduardo did get the last laugh in real life. His networth is about 8 billion as opposed to Sean's 2.8 billion.
Oh man, Sean must be gutted /s
You know that Eduardo was the real life villian. Sean even after getting fired from Facebook provided consultancy to Mark to build Facebook more better.
5 billion 50 billion there is no difference in your life dudes. Like what the fuck.
@@VY-zt3ph more better, you say?
@@VY-zt3ph More better is incoherent English akin to social media in general.
Even mark lawyers was like cmon dawg, you really diluted a co-founder .03 percent .
For real lol
Yeah, that look those two lawyers shared said everything.
Co founder didn’t do anything for company after initial investment. They would get rid of him anyways
That's fake. He still had about 5% of the company, for doing essentially nothing.
@@Secretlyanothername9%
The saddest part of this scene is that Eduardo (at least in the movie) really was Mark's friend.
Even Mark himself has admitted he has had only 2 real friends in his life...his high school girlfriend that he married, and Eduardo
@@michaelromefelt762 source? Not doubting u just curious
Really a shame because he believed in Mark's idea and stood by him even before they thought FB would make as much money as it did
He deserved to get booted. He wasn't even in the same state as his company. Also note that he bailed on both Brazil and the US to avoid paying his taxes, yet he is active in ZIonist causes.
@@michaelromefelt762 damn that’s sad
Even Mark's lawyers were shocked at how Mark did Eduardo😂😂
It was a 'For how smart you are that was the dumbest move you could have made.'
This is fake writing. He's share diluted to 10 percent from 30 not 0.3 percent. (Even then he was biggest share holder besides Mark) Which he deserved since he didn't do a thing to grow the company and sucked at his job.
@@poiu-ve6gw found Mark/Sean's burner
Well without his money there would not have been a company, so well he earns his place. Even if it was diluted to 10 percent, it was an absolute dick move and after the chat and mail conversations between him and Sean or the Vinkelvos became public everyone should know that he is a prick. @@poiu-ve6gw
That’s why he won the lawsuit against Zucker?
This was one of the best scene in the movie. Perfect example of getting backstabbed & great acting!
He shouldve won the oscar for this scene alone
Lol they don’t give Oscars away like popcorn
Sadly he wasn't even nominated.
Who
You are actually right!
Eh
man sacrificed $19k for a fake punch and a badass line - respect
It was drawn from a frozen account tho.
It'd bounce as soon as he encash it. His 19k still stands.
....yeah he can unfrozen that check and even in tough way goes fair for 8 billion!!!
No. Shoulda broken Sean's nose, and taken the 19k which he may've been able to redeem if/when the account was thawed.
He made 300k the following summer trading oil futures by analyzing weather. He’s an actual genius when it comes to investing.
@@adamalmshref3130If he took the check, it could have been seen as payment/severance for leaving the company. By not taking the check he could sue for more.
I swear Andrew can play any role and play it to perfection he’s so damn good
Facts
yeah
Not me because I haven't seen it, but I heard people saying he stunk up star wars
@djfacts You haven’t seen it, and you heard from people? Why did you even comment then troll.
@@liquorstoregord oh excuse me, I didn't care enough to mention that I didn't see the whole entire movie, but I did watch his scenes. The critics were right! He basically seemed like he was being over dramatic & crying too much. Does that make you happy now?
When he walked out at 3:59, the men beside him didn't look like security guards escorting him out. They actually looked more like his bodyguards lol
i’m dead😂
I think thats the point.....i mean sean AND mark looks like kids while Eduardo looks like a real business Man, thats why all the people was scared AND saw who was the real boss.... I mean in the movie right? In real life who knows....
Right!
Didn't think about that until now
Security guards in corporate settings will simply escort you out. They know they cant roughen up some Director/C suite dude or even an intern, if they are making a scene.
hey great point of view!!! he was marching out like a real Boss after got the last laugh on idiot sean parker who almost shit his pants!!
The "You better lawyer up" - speech was incredible
I like how his outburst is imperfect - a bit of spit, says prada a bit weird - feels more genuine and angry
When this movie first came out it was honestly one of my favorites. I can’t stand Facebook, but the story of its creation and the betrayal was really nice.
I think of this movie as a Shakespearean story set in modern times.
It’s about loyalty, betrayal, jealousy and so much more set within a modern day empire.
That’s a cool way way of thinking about it. I agree it’s a time old tale of betrayal
WOW!!! what a fresh perspective!
The score for this movie is SO DAMN GOOD
Best ever imo. That’s why they got the Oscar
Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails co-wrote it,
Yes! And I love the score of The Girl with the Dragon tattoo even more, its also by trent reznor
JT brings in some subtle humor into this scene. It was really amazingly written.
If Facebook knew that in 2021 that they would be worth over 1 trillion dollar, they would had fought more aggressively to prevent Saverin from getting founder status. His attorneys did a great job to get him $5 billion. For the little effort and money that Saverin invested in Facebook, this may have been the greatest return on investment of all time.
I thought his settlement amount was undisclosed?
@@idek89 The settlement amount was $65 million of Facebook stock. The Winklevoss twins tried to appeal the settlement several years later when Facebook had to reveal their financials during the IPO.
Are guys talking about the movie plot?
@Trenton Crow As a venture capitalist, Thiel invested $500K, while Saverin invested only $30K and some of which he froze the funds on.
Except that Facebook would probably never grow anywhere if weren't for his initial capital and friendship to Mark.
"I like standing next to you sean.
it's makes me look so tough"
👏👏👏👏🔥🔥
2:20-2:27 the reaction of his defense team after hearing the ambush in person says alot.
Even Mark's lawyers were like "No way I am defending this s###".
I come back to watch this scene from time to time. Andrew Garfield is such a brilliant actor
the guy wearing a hoodie under a sportscoat called Andrew Garfield's suit "ridiculous"
You know he's something of a Spider-Man himself. #AndrewGarfield
More like
He's something of a Bully Garfield himself
If you pretend Mark is jjj it's just like the amazing Spider-Man 3 when he gets the symbiote.
The look on Garfield's face at 3:27/3:28 depicting Eduardo Saverin's feeling of being betrayed by his best friend is Oscar-worthy contention stuff. Oh the irony of this scene, though: two best friends parting ways leaving one bitter and the other seeing the glory of generational vision realized 😒 over the same damn thing
The thing about this that fascinates me so is that usually in these stories, the businessman betrays and cuts out the creative mind. Jobs and Woz, Ray Kroc and the McDonalds brothers, etc. So it’s surprising to see the creative mind pull out the reverse card and screw over the businessman.
The major point of the movie is that Mark isn't a "creative" most of his ideas were stolen from friends and associates. He is one large Judas
In what world is mark Zuckerberg a creative mind? He is just a code monkey with a hard on to be a born again caesar
@@triplemoyagames4195 Mark is a creative, he had 5 other IPs that made him known to Winklevoss brothers. He also was the few that had the skills at Harvard to pull it off, that's why they wanted him. But bringing Mark basically gave him direction for his next project.
@@AllenHanPR Let's make something clear, mark, technically speaking, is a genius, No one questions his technical ability. However he was known as a poacher, that doesn't mean he can't have a good idea or two of his known. But his best work was stolen from others.
Whoever makes the right decisions ends up on top. Doesn't matter what talent you have.
3:48 that transformers sound made Garfield’s delivery so badass
i’m crying 😭😭 “transformers sound”
Nah but seriously what the name of that sound?
I first got on FB when it was college only around 2007. It was the coolest way to meet new people on campus! 😎
Notice Mark is wearing an "Arm & Hammer" shirt, while the guy who plays the Winklevoss twins is "Armie Hammer" 😆
i come back to watch this every 5 months and it’s that time of year
The look the lawyers (?) gave Mark after they found out how diluted his shares were now
It's still absurd that Andrew wasn't nominated for an Oscar that year.
The bigger crime was last year. He should have won for Tick Tick Boom.
C'mon, the Oscars rarely acknowledge real talent
Even though he's outnumbered and losing, he still completely owns the situation.
This is why Lex Luthor can take on Superman with no powers, while Spider-Man still has to deliver pizza while fighting crime.
Andrew Garfield is such a good actor. My favorite spiderman too.
this movie introduced me to Andrew Garfield and I still believe this is his best performance to date.
That's a perfect example how business destroys friendships.
Aaron Sorkin kills it in the writing department
This is when he decides to be the Amazing Spider-Man to fight crimes and help out the neighborhoods.
Andrew Garfield and his performance creates endless fun... Well done, you are amazing... You will say it... I am amazing
I love this movie... Garfield is a great actor, he kills it in this. 99 Homes too....both great movies.
I'm just wondering what it'd actually be like to witness something like this at the office.
It happens often.
More than you believe.
Happened to me irl. Not on this scale but this stuff happens all the time in start ups
I witnessed a situation at work almost exactly like this. Except I was the "Eduardo" in that situation 🙄
And I definitely went out with a bang, Eduardo style! At a staff meeting, the "CEO" tried to call me out. I defended myself. But he fought back. Things escalated quickly, and I told him that he was a "FUCKING ASSHOLE!!!" in front of his entire staff and walked out 🤣
I was his his right-hand man for ~16 years.
i did something like eduardo did here once but not for millions of dollars for sure :)
Dwight would have pepper sprayed him.
probably the best three minutes of film ever YOU DID IT I INEW YOU DID YOU PLANTED THAT STORY ABOUT THE CHICKEN
My favorite Andrew Garfield movie.
I have this movie on my “to watch” list. Haven’t gotten to it. I didn’t realize Andrew was in it. Love Andrew Garfield! Justin wasn’t too bad either. I really wanted Andrew to punch him in the face. Lol.
It’s. Must. Exceptional movie
Andrew Garfield was my favorite part of the film.
It's better he didn't. He showed that he is both the stronger and better man.
I didn’t watch it for years because they put JT in it. His acting is rough in all of his scenes but thankfully he doesn’t have a ton of screen time. The rest of the film is near flawless.
The Security guards wasn't escorting Andrew out of the building. HE WAS ESCORTING THEM OUT!
"...So I kin'da dressed for both." DING 🔔
Even the lawyers were like "welp, thats another 2 zeroes on the settlement cheque."
The way Mark tried to empathize with Eduardo after stabbing him in his back smh. I would have left out like I was Randy Savage lol
YER EYES LUST FOR ELIZABETH
He killed it . Camera in the bike room
Still can't believe they made a movie about Facebook this interesting 😮💥
To think this would be the future platform old people use to post pics of their dogs by the pool
Hey when you're done with your shift at McDonalds, come on by to use the pool...for an hour.
1:42-1:43 the Return Of Bully Garfield 🤣👌👍🥳👏
Where is this bully garfiels come from ?
@@Noonenoone440 It is from the bully Maguire memes.
this soundtrack from Trent Reznor jamming
Wait fr, he also did black ops 2’s main theme. Both iconic so it makes sense
Justin Timberlake played this so well, he just had to be himself 😂.
"Seriously. What the hell's the chicken."😆😆😆
This scene gives me hope
Awesome film fantastic poor Eduardo 🤨
I think you used the wrong emoji
He’s was gonna put some dirt in Sean’s eye.
My favorite part in this movie!!
I love how they get their revenge on Eduardo for trying to sabotage the company.
Peter Parker break Lex Luther's laptop and sue the shit out of him
Deep down inside, the character Mark has a soft spot on Eduardo
didn’t stop him from snaking eduardo out of his own company
Deep down feelings don't matter, it's your actions that really count.
Deep down inside, it comes down to Mark's thoughts, not necessarily "feelings".
The real Mark Zuckerberg probably cared even le$$ than this.
Jesse Eisenberg is wearing an Arm & Hammer shirt in this scene. I just caught that. For real, was that an "Armie Hammer" gag? 😆😆😆
Probably, good catch 😊
andrew garfield not being nominated for oscar was a crime
Best scene of the movie. Screw Mark and Sean. Eduardo deserved and got every penny.
Andrew Garfield is a good actor
Timberlake is the highlight of this movie
Garfield after Spider-Man No Way Home to Maguire and Holland: I'm not coming back for 33%, I'm coming back for everything.
Anyone else just shriek at the image of that laptop getting slammed?
Shows how mad he really was
Do you know how many laptops got smashed just for the making of that scene alone?

I'm probably too stupid for this kind of business. But I still don't get how what they did was legal. They just robbed him.
It wasn’t that’s why he ended up getting 5 bill
Yea cause it was illegal
Totally legal, he still owned 5% after dilution, and he was literally stopping them from getting more capital which they needed to grow. He's the problem in this movie.

In the movie, Eduardo seemed rather removed and not familiar with that was happening in the company. Was he really that clueless?
Yes, in real life Mark got rid of Eduardo because he wasn’t putting in the work and just wanted the benefits of being co-founder without any real effort.
@@RossReels27 He was the financial backer, but Eduardo was trying to turn FB intoa get rich quick project.
When facebook hit 100k users Eduardo started desperately trying to convince mark to monetize the product, but mark did not. The problem was at the time FB was running on Eduardo's cash alone, that's why he was trying so hard to monetize it while mark was chillin
@@RossReels27 Because he was the investor of facebook for the first time. If eduardo didn't believe in Mark or didn't want to invest to mark project, facebook will not exist
Yes. It's annoying seeing people think he's the victim, rather than someone causing problems for a growing company.
Black suit Spiderman wildin
Met Garfield, guy is a switch.... Just like in the movies
Spiderman attacks Lex Luthor
Lol the fact that how Sean Parker only ever managed to make it big time during this period, and now Eduardo's networth is 8 times his can ever get, being a jackar*e doesnt pay off folks
Andrew Garfield is amazing.
the scene where they ask what where shars diluted down to, everyone knew mark fucked up. just the looks from everyone.
You know that most of this is fake, right? Eduardo still walked away with billions, even after he tried to destroy the company.
I’ll send flowers 💐
Zuckerberg better be careful because he's not coming back for 50%
He's coming back as Spider-Man
I mean even at .3 % ownership his initial investment between 20 and 50k is worth north of 150 mill as of 2022 🤣🤣 sign me up
0.03%
😂 .03% of $1,000,000 = $300.00
entrepreneurs are not employees, They are not yes men, they don't process like that. They are the top thinkers, leaders, creators, they don't bow down and blindly obey.
That 0.3% was worth 300 million dollars, it wasn't actually about the money, it was about being sabotaged
Once you watch someone start as a superhero, it’s so weird to see them act as a regular guy after. Tobey is still the best spidey tho.
Spider man with the symbiote
Edurado then went on to become a spiderman
He couldn't celebrate the 1M without his friend.
This movie alone made me hate Justin Timberlake and I can’t unsee it all these years later
Eduardo 👌♥️
I'm coming back for EVERYTHING
At 0.03% they dilluted his shares by 1200x.... so instead fo $8 billion Eduardo is now worth he would be worth only $66 million.
Can someone explain what was wrong with Mark's behavior from a "legal" perspective? I understand what he did was unethical. I didnt know its possible to dilute only one partner's share while fundraising. But assuming it happened as per the story presented here, Eduardo's shares were diluted because he signed certain agreements that Mark brings up at 2:30. How did Eduardo win the case legally? You cant sign an agreement and then call it unfair later on.
You literally can. The lawyers who made him sign it acted like they’re working on his interests and convinced him not to read it thoroughly. If anything they should be disbarred.
@@ramraj08point but that clearly explains you gotta read it before you blindly sign it.
Examples of a major fuckoff from Founder to Founder/Co-Founder ♥
I hate mark zuckerburg.
He's an 👽.... But doesn't everyone hate M.Z.?
It was really Sean Parker (the Devil on his shoulder) that drive them apart, I doubt Mark would've done that to Eduardo if Sean hadn't influenced him
