This reminds me of two summer camp counselors getting up in front of the kids to sing a classic and just have fun! The audience loved it and it brings back great memories.
Fantastic song from the early seventies. I always loved 'brand new key' and 'my little one' by Marmalade, and 'never ending song of love' by Delaney & Bonnie and also New Seekers version. And Hot Butter - Popcorn. Such uplifting pop.
Considering the musician Todd is and the music he does -- I'm respectful of his work with artists like Melanie & Laura Nyro. Not singer-songwriters you'd expect him to be with. But his taste in music is obviously wide & his admiration -- wonderful. And it looks like he's having a great time. RIP Melanie & Laura. Robert Plant has done it as well hooking up successfully with Alison Krauss. This type of thing adds newly discovered credibility to them. The legendary sax player Art Pepper even laid down a sax solo on Melanie's "I'm So Blue," which was a miracle and sounded so great.
