Don't worry about Aluminium use cutting into Cu market.... My understanding of electricity transport is that aluminum can be spun to small wire diameter without becoming super brittle. Aluminum wiring can not efficiently handle the same electrical loads as copper with out again the physical drawbacks of becoming brittle over time.. I'm sure technology in manufacturing will help aluminum be used in greater amounts but not at the speed and volume that the world will require. Cu still being the top choice.
