So many of the things on this list I don’t even own! 😂 a few years ago I just decided I don’t enjoy make up and nail polish so I just stopped buying them. And I also stopped using a hair dryer and straightener so I don’t even own those anymore either! It’s actually been so nice to not have to worry about those things. Me too. My children asked to paint their nails recently and it too me quiet awhile to realize I hadn't owned polish since my wedding years ago. It was only fun to do 2-3x a year, and that wasn't worth the stress of removing polish before it got bad looking.
Fortunately I have just done a house declutter a few weeks back and now do a room by room declutter each weekend and found that this helps me keep a decluttered home weekly. I learnt this over time as a minimalist and it works wonders.
Perfumes shouldn't also be kept in the bathroom, because of the temperature changes, humidity. Try to store them in your warderobe or wherever they don't get extra sunlight so they will keep their origin smell a lot longer 👌
I meant to ask if you can do a video about procrastination and how you deal with it and tips on how we can also deal with it. I did send an email suggesting same.
my conditioner lasts longer than shampoo too. I now buy the conditioner in a smaller size than the shampoo. first though I took note how long they lasted
Yes. I've just been addressing my towel situation. I decided 3 towels each is a good number. 👍 it means one in the wash cycle one in use and one as back up in case something disrupts the cycle.
I love your videos 😊. Can you show us how to properly dispose of some of the stuff you mentioned?? I'll hate to put stuff in the trash when I know somehow how it can be properly disposed of.
I am the total opposite... I use way more conditioner than shampoo, I will normally buy 2 conditioners to 1 bottle of shampoo and that normally gets me to running out at roughly the same time frame.
All the items you mentioned to declutter, I legit cannot declutter as I have the minimal amount of everything you mentioned or I use everything in that category of the things I have multiples of. I have multiple soaps and conditioners but they're all the same scents because I got them in a set so I wouldn't have to go out and buy them again, they were less expensive that way and it's needed during this recession. Hair tools, I only have my hair straightener I've had for 10/11 years now and my hair dryer. I might not use it a lot but it comes in handy when I need to be ready super quick after my morning shower to go somewhere. I have tons of scrunchies but I use them all everyday because I love the look of them over hair ties for my hair when pulling it back. I plan on getting some more that are lace or velvet with bows too. My 4 person household only has 8 towels total, some of which we've had for over 5 years actually. I only keep 1 perfume as it's hard for me to actually find a scent I like and want to spend money on. I'll go to Ulta and spray one on my wrist and let it stay the whole day when I haven't put on perfume that day to see if I want to get one and most of the time I don't want it. My favorite one is Juicy Couture Gold Couture. Went through 2 bottles since last spring, lmao 😅 I just realized how long my comment was after I commented and came back to add this part 😂

since years, i admit that i reduce the number of it to the minimal and since my skin and hair are better than before :) and for the expiration date on products, there is a little symbol that is a little pot with the top opened on the label of products that indicates 6months, 12 or 24 depending on the product to indicate the validity approximatively of the product after its opening (sorry for my approximative english :) just felt to share this in case it can help others too :) it helps me to check my bathroom too :) even if some products can be stil good after or not good even before the date, depending of the product and conditions of conservation of course :)

Depends on where you store them! But a hot, sunny place is not good for the oils and chemicals inside the perfume. The perfume can go bad really fast in a place like this.

Check out Lush Power conditioner, you barely need to use any to get a great result. I too used to use way more cond than shamp.

Use leftover conditioner for shaving instead of shaving cream.
I use my body wash for that. Dove body wash works great for that purpose for me 😊

I have not used perfume for decades, it is just a waste of money and you can rarely smell it on yourself :)

I get travel size toothpaste everytime I go to the dentist. I probably have more then my fair share of these.
