OMG! I also looked for those Sinful Colors Save the Bees polishes. Went to 6 Walmart's and only found the Golden Fleck-last one. You really found gems with those. Never thought of buying from Mercari. I have bought from Goodwill. TFS!
I looked everywhere and ended up finding a four piece set on target.com but finally found the other two on mercari, I plan on giving away a four piece set to share the joy 😃❤ And I always look at the second hand stores, and I have found a handful ☺
Omgosh! I love your haul! The Vanessa Molina and KBS are gorgeous! Now, you're not gonna believe this but I have been looking for the Sinful Colors Bees collection and gave up the search. When you showed the two you found, I immediately went on Mercari and guess what: I found the 6 piece collection! I'm so giddy, lol, and I hope the seller sends them quickly! I have found so many great polishes on Mercari: Sinful Colors, OPI, Essie Shine of the Times, Pacific Blue. Thanks so much for sharing your finds and making my day! ❤
I'm ashamed to say, I never bought a secondhand polish. I never sold any either. I don't know how ,so I give them away. I'm good with the amount of polish in my life right now anyway. I'm glad you found a place to buy and sell🙂
i've bought from facebook groups before. it's very easy and generally the people who are selling are honest. i've bought from fb maybe 5 or 6 times and never had trouble with the sellers, it was always just trouble with whether or not the post office was on top of their game or not, and that can be an issue with any online purchase generally. i did try to buy an older indie from someone who was not deep in the scene anymore and so a transaction never really happened, but it wasn't a bad interaction, i just didn't push for them to sell and they seemed kind of forgetful. other than that, i think buying through facebook groups is an excellent way to pick up polishes you missed out on. i've never tried selling, but i'm also just not 100% on the logistics of it, so it's really more of a barrier to entry than buying.
Ive been looking at polishes on mercari, but the processing fee, buyer fee, shipping & taxes all end up being like $15 and more than the polish i want to purchase. Im glad youre having a good experience tho!!
Omgosh, i am hearing this, I haven't been shopping too much, trying to stick to me low buy ha 😅 but I will definitely be looking next time I want to make a purchase! 😮
There's no sellers fees because all the fees have been pushed onto the buyer. I'll never buy from mercari again after what they've done to buyers and sellers both. There are so many people like me that either won't ever support mercari again, left altogether and haven't had any sales since the last policy change because of all the crazy new buyer fees they've slapped onto every single order. It's ridiculous. You're actually the first video I've seen praising mercari. Lol. Good luck selling and buying on there.
It changed about 2 months ago I think, when they dropped the seller fees. I used to really like Mercari as a buyer, never sold anything. But now I'll definitely think twice. I recently bought a polish for $13.50 that cost me $21 after shipping, tax, service fee and payment processing fee.
I have had luck buying from Mercari before! You found some beauties!!!
Yessss, so glad to hear that, I feel like I have had alot of luck searching there😃 like a hidden little treasure haha

Nice, glad to hear this. It seems that the groups try to keep the riffraff and scammers away but hadn't heard anyone's review so to speak, thank you 🥰
