I feel confident it will defeat these two based on previous tests with the first generation Skil. That said, I haven’t tried the generation 2 Skil 12 volt BL drill.
@Zacktalksshop yeah, I've got the first gen drill, but haven't gotten the second gen compact one yet. If you do test the second gen and sell it off afterwards, I would definitely buy it. 🤣
My buddy got 20v and 12v skill new stuff he likes it or them. Got few drills 12,20 impact drivers,says nice saws , oscillating tool. He had some DeWalt 18v with adapter and 20v battery. And 20 v DeWalt drill. Gave them to son in law got skill stuff. So IDK I used his stuff we building his porch and did good to me. But right now I'm to in deep in DeWalt 20v and batteries 4 of 6ah 1 of 5ah and 4,5 of 2ah. One flex volt. It's 2ah at 60 or 6ah at 20v. So that's only reason don't want start on another platform at moment. But that hyper tough got me. 12v stuff good deal for around house ratchet 30$ battery and charger,drill 22$ battery and charger. Had get 4ah and quick charger.all less 100$. Not much less but less.
Nice tests. For just driving screws, either in soft wood or sheet metal out and in like a HVAC tech does all day on calls, I wonder how a USB-charged driver will do. It will lighten the tool bag, but will it be enough?
Good question. I used my Rigid 12 volt drill as a service tech, but a usb model may lack the power for drilling holes for seal tight and similar activities.
Going head to head against hypertough is like comparing a Ford pinto with a pacer. If you want to see how good DCK is or how good of a value you need to compare it to a Milwaukee or DeWalt. Your head to head was completely useless.
Now we need to see how the skil 12v drill compares to those two.

You've got a small deck, they say if you work it hard it will turn into larger 18v dck
