Best Rag guide I have seen so far. Good overall explaination and so many useful details. Thank you very much! As others mentioned, its indeed very long. Making a bold guess: Cutting it to a 20min video and adding a more appealing title could bring you a way bigger audience, so that the knowledge is spread way more and also increase your revenue (if thats interesting for you : ).
There is so much useful information in this. This is amazing stuff that would benefit from being squeezed into a compact, pre-recorded, scripted 15- to 20-minute video. A lot of the information here gets repeated and the individual bits are spaced out, which is amazing for a seminar but I feel like, even though I am thankful I watched all of it, I wouldn't generally watch long videos like these to git gud at a hero. All it takes is good animations, several days of editing manpower and a buttload of effort. But damn, this is good shit. So my main takeaway is that I am now going to play excessive Try Mode Ragnaros and not have a life. Thanks for that.
This video is an incredible resource for the community. I’ve spent the past 24 hours passing it to various friends as I watch little chunks of it. Finally wrapping up now, and just wanted to say thank you - I really enjoyed it. I’ve got some questions about Ragaros in Abathur comps. Do you feel there are any big synergy/antisynergy things here? How would you build Rag for this comp? Seems like it would make Lava Wave redundant. Would you run Rag in an off lane, or the 3man?
A few questions nobody asked: you only talked about picking him to double soak or to be in the 4man, so how does Rag perform in a 1-1-3 type situation? Can you clear a wave in 4 seconds and then do anything useful like take a camp well? You talked about taking 13q if the enemies have no stuns to proc the armor talent, are there no situations where you'd see the enemy team and say "I want that % damage" even if they do have stuns too? And if you do decide "I'm going to need 13q this game," does the armor talent at 4 move up in priority, or is w slow still higher value even if the armor isn't outclassed by another armor talent?
Thanks for the questions! > how does Rag perform in a 1-1-3 type situation? Can you clear a wave in 4 seconds and then do anything useful like take a camp well? Rag falls off a bit in this situation, but he can still perform quite well here, especially with Q1/E4/AA7, because it can let you bully enemy laners out of lane (by abusing lane sustain with Q). His camp clear isn't astounding, but he's no slouch, especially with Q1, so he does that fairly okay. > You talked about taking 13q if the enemies have no stuns to proc the armor talent, are there no situations where you'd see the enemy team and say "I want that % damage" even if they do have stuns too? 13Q is not the percentage damage talent, it only increases Q healing on enemy heroes. There are no situations where I would consider the extra healing more valuable than 40 armor, if the 40 armor can be procced. > And if you do decide "I'm going to need 13q this game," does the armor talent at 4 move up in priority, or is w slow still higher value even if the armor isn't outclassed by another armor talent? No, I consider W slow fairly critical to the way I play Ragnaros! Of course, you can experiment and find out what works for your games, but I think E4 is so incredibly strong you can never pass it up (since it makes your most useless ability into a fairly strong ganking tool). If you have any further questions or would like to discuss things, I can be found in the Wind Striders discord ( discord.gg/HbfnKeNb ) or the CCS discord
Great guide MindHawk, learned a lot about the hero and the talents

I've played a lot of Rag since I saw this video and am at a 65% winrate :) (QM though mainly, but still), so thanks a lot :)
Nice video, thanks!
