This release is dedicated to and written for all the people I have never met but have only read about. The innocent people who were out living their lives and one day, without warning, had them taken away from them. People who liked to laugh, dance, and love in the way that we all do, but cant anymore. All those names and faces, all those beautiful strangers...
So here are two songs, "Beautiful Strangers" as well as my cover of Townes Van Zandt's "No Place To Fall" that I have been closing my live show with over the past year. Any purchase of these two songs will go to support the work of Everytown For Gun Safety - an organization I have followed for quite some time. About a year ago I was having a Late Night Chill vibe in my bedroom after a joint, while Spotify was playing some random songs, and this one started playing. When the lyrics said "take a look in the sky and wonder" i took the advice and started to look to the stars, when a few seconds later a shooting star passed in the sky. It was amazing. The other day i started looking for the song but i never found it again. Today i went out to supermarket and let youtube playing random songs again, and right in the moment i came back home this song was playing, and i knew it was familiar. Replayed the song to find something about looking to the sky and yeah, this was the song.

When he says pray for Paris - He is referring to the mass shooting in Paris. When he speaks of 49 dead - He is referring to the gay nightclub mass shooting in Orlando. When he speaks of Freddie Gray - He is referring to what cops joke about giving a 'suspect' a rough ride where he is handcuffed, put in the back of a van unsecured and driven around recklessly stopping and speeding up to make it a nightmare for the man in the back. Freddie Gray died after his ride from a spinal injury. All 6 officers were never convicted of anything.

Got introduced to this tune a few years ago by a Greek lady in a little cottage in Ireland. She had to go home during covid and I left the cottage too.
