I know this is an old video but my 4-week old chicks are suddenly dying one by one each night. I don’t know why. We have just taken the heat source out because they are already on roosting bars in the brooder. We use ounce shavings since week 2 without an issue. We feed chick starter crumbles and give a bit of mealworms. We keep water fresh and clean. We feel we have done everything we can but they are just up and dying all of a sudden.
Did you offer the chicks grit to break down the mealworms? I’m also a new chick mama and lost one due to crop impaction from eating the pine flake bedding. I hope your babies made it.
Thanks for sharing your tips. Liked and subscribed for more :)
