Headlights out and new ones back in, in barley an hour thanks to this tutorial. I also had purchased my headlights from 1A. They shipped supper fast, but one arrived broken. Had an awesome customer service experience and a replacement light in a couple days. Just wanted to say thank you.
So you don’t have to connect anything to the headlight ? You don’t have to code it either ? Or wire anything ? You just out the headlight on and it works ?

@@1AAuto Excellent, thank you for the reply. I had to remove the headlight yesterday and did so without removing the entire bumper. This video was very helpful.
You literally don’t need to do all this. You can reach the bulbs directly from the top with only your hands. It’s tight but possible. If u don’t have fat hands.

can this be done without removing the bumper?

So theres no connectors for the headlight washers?

What year is this GTI? Some GTI's have support brackets on the sides of each headlight that this video does not include.
