It’s so interesting to compare Mariah’s tone from her Debut until 1996. Because we can hear how the tone gets more older and more mature but at the same time it’s getting lighter, brighter and more girly. It’s fascinating❤

My top 5 1 - 2003 (Clear, powerful and excellent extra E5) 2 - 2005 (Very powerful with and extra E5) 3 - 2023 (Clear, Open, Tone 😍 and also powerful but light at the same time) 4 - 2015 (I love the way she hits that note + its clear, tone 😍 and power) 5 - 1990-1998 (One C#5 only but excellent ease and run afterwards)

Imo, I think that her tone in 2016 (SSFT specifically) was better than 2018. It wasn’t metallic and it was still bright, not like the 2015 and 17 residencies.
