Any guidance on how to convince people to signup for a WordPress account when donating/subscribing to payments? I absolutely love the feature and the ease, but I keep getting asked what the WordPress account is, why they need to sign up, etc.
Try this: A WordPress.com username account is required for WordPress.com to securely manage you billing details for payments on this site, and is what the site uses to determine whether or not you should have access to premium content on the site, included in your subscription. Creating a WordPress.com account is completely free and doesn't require that you must have their own site on WordPress.com. You can create a WordPress.com account without creating a site at wordpress.com/start/account/user/
Really very helpful. Thanks for this webinar. Great job.
