I know this will sound cheesy , however, I think you are the most relatable turner on TH-cam for me personally. You turn tons of scrap wood which I can appreciate. I’d love to turn some Brazilian rosewood and grass wood tree blanks but I also have to eat and pay bills. We would all love to have a 10k+ robust American beauty lathe but we turn on what we can afford and what works. My harbor freight lathe doesn’t have many options but I can turn just about anything on it. You make things that are proven to sell at prices people can afford and what you also enjoy making. This is just my opinion. But I’d say you found the perfect recipe for a wood turning channel with longevity.

I’d see robust lathes, super expensive slow speed grinding set ups, ect. Those are all things you can build up to one day if that’s the way you want to go. Personally, I think by using what’s available and affordable , it’s only made me a better turner. I love my lathe, I love my cheap tools, some of which are homemade, and I love wood turning. Your videos show everyone what’s capable with skill and practice.
