Not enough people talk about how the singing at the end mimics the singing also heard in Seven. Not only that but the Vancouver 7PM noise making, also from the first track, returns to create an album loop
Don't know if the lyrics are already posted, if they are i havent seen them, so: Beauty I surrender Truth I am tender for you Courage I hunger for you I need you I need you 'Cause the battle's inside inside And the trouble's inside inside of me And everything's fine outside But the battle is the trouble is And don't forget the answer is inside Lover don't you touch me Leave I am a danger to you But ooh I hunger for you I want you I crave you But the battle's inside inside And the trouble's inside inside of me And everything's fine outside But the battle is the trouble is And don't forget the answer is inside Inside, inside, inside Inside, ah Inside Inside Inside Inside Inside sorry if there's any mistakes

@@psychedlicsouljam1995 Yeah, Inside is a very good album. I love how broad the subject matter is, because literally everyone has an internal emotional conflict...
This song hits a very personal note for me. What ever you go through in life, Ryan, Molly, Jasmine, Mike and Ali, stay true to yourselves. Don’t let fame, fortune or unimportant things steer you away from truth, honesty, courage, love, humility, grace, and Love. God bless you all. 💙🙏✌️
This song gives me Pink Floyd vibes. The length, speaking in the background, the guitar solo, and the random sounds at the end. Anyone else or is it just me?
The first part reminded me of Radiohead (which is great of course) but later on as I heard the drums and the guitar... the psychedelic Pink Floyd was there. Those influences are evident but they still sound original and experimental. Unique band. Amazing.
I was thinking the same thing! I love how MM and PF share the same habit of carrying themes and leitmotifs, not only that but I love how both bands show an emotional journey in song. MM Carries the seven leitmotif throughout the album, just like Pink Floyd Carries the brick in the wall leitmotif through that album.
I remember first hearing“Pure Love” because i was playing a pandora playlist while i was having a mental breakdown, and then i just searched it on TH-cam and played it on repeat for about an hour and a half while it cried myself to sleep 💀but the song made it one of those peaceful cries though where you just kinda forget about everything and just cry to cry, instead of it becoming a full on meltdown
This song is a journey, and coming back to it in 2023 is such a trip. I think it perfectly incapsulates how I was feeling during height of the pandemic -helpless, not knowing what was gonna happen, paranoid, and being self aware enough to recognize my relationships suffering and my mental health declining. It is easy to recognize this time as a pause, that no self-growth really happened, but it was a whole year and a half of witnessing horrible events, death, the decline of our community, and the exposure of the people in our society who hurt us the most. I came out of it a completely different person, as it was one of my lowest points. I was so mentally unwell by the time things were starting to go back to normal. A lot of people were in mental turmoil. Which is why I think the ending of this song is fitting as well- it swells, then goes back into the sounds of the city…alive. We lived through it. Time to process our losses, everything that happened, and how we will react. We are no longer stuck inside.
I have been following your work for more than about four years. I am in love with your music! Songs deeper and more atmospheric I have never heard from anyone. Thank you for continuing to write music! You are the best! 🔥 I dream of attending your concert someday and hearing you live.
just before listening to this song I was saying i really wanted them to end the album with a tie in to the first song since it feels so cyclical, and like an attempt to break the internal cycle but you just cant quite do it. AND THEN THE THING HAPPENED I LITERALLY FREAKED
I don't think the entire album is as strong as some previous ones, but this song is pretty outstanding. In particular I like, how it's constantly changing depth, sometimes it's incredibly near and then again wide and atmospheric. Love the weird sounds coming in at about 2min. What is it? A rubber sheet? That's cool & mysterious. Like it ❤❤❤
This song resonates with everything going on in my life right now. Thankyou for making this bittersweet piece to help me look deep within myself to see what no longer serves me. Surely, you've blessed thousands as well with the insight necesarry to heal the soul. Thankyou, Mother Mother.
Would definitely encourage y'all to take a look at all of their work. Some of it is a bit ambitious for my taste, sure. But they've said so many things in so many ways you'll never hear anywhere else.
I know they are completely different genres of music but this song gives me the same emotional feelings as "Touch" by Daft Punk. Absolute masterpieces.
I just realized what this sound is, in the beginning of lockdown in a lot of places people were going outside and banging pots and pans, ringing bells, beeping horns, at a certain time every night to show that were all still alive and thriving in quarantine, I believe thats what this is and its so fucking cool to me
I'm so happy we were blessed with a song over 8 minutes

But ooh I hunger for you

Didn't expect a straight up prog rock song from this album, not gonna lie, but this is easily one of my favourite songs by Mother Mother right now
This feels like the sort of song you'd bury someone to, and not in a bad way.
I love that they take their time with songs and make them as long as necessary. They clearly put a lot of love into this song
