What a great batch of stamps. Lots of unused stamps. The late 30's and early 40's had some nice stamps. The MM was a symbol of the Leipzig Fair though I do not know what they stand for. Though I believe Messe is a German word for Fair so that may be one of your M's.The high values of the Airmail stamp at 18:45 are a very nice looking set in unused condition
I think you mentioned how much you paid for the whole lot from Goodwill, but you seem to have got an amazing bargain. They seem to have deconstructed someone’s entire collection!
Yes this was a lucky find. Lots of history to enjoy and some decent catalog value as well. In the next video we look at 4 series of stamps from West Berlin with a catalog value over $200.
nice video, well done. It would be nice if you gave a mention to the 'campaign' behind some of these stamps. Obviously some are part of a specific propaganda theme, but you dont cover that background much.
I hope to get to that level eventually but I am just seeing these stamps for the first time when I make the video. A deep dive will take a lot of research. I am planning to do a series if women on stamps in the near future which will go deeper.
The semipostals were great, yes you did get a great deal on all the stamps
