Ah...je suis tres content que j'ai trouvé votre channel, c'est absolument parfait. Je viens de decouvrer c'est méthod de language learning (hier soir precisement) et déja je trouve un resource comme celui ci. Vraiment, j'ai de la chance. I was just trying to strike a deal with the children of a couple of friends of mine that they do half an hour a week with me where they talk about what is happening in a picture/a book etc and then I found this. I'm super excited. Also, yes, I spent a wonderful afternoon in the Musée Rodine last autumn and I saw some of Camille Claudel's work there. But I'm very happy to hear the story in simplified French. Merci. Now I'm off to sign up to your course (or, however it works). Merci.
Super Susan! I am so happy you discovered this method to acquire a language! It is the ONLY method really, the one all babies and children do to acquire their own mother tongue. Hello Prof. Ayel,
I have been watching your videos regularly and with the combination of other comprehensible input acquired a lot of vocabulary to be able to comprehend many reading materials. My problem is with fast spoken French. I can understand what is said when i read transcriptions or, in the case of youtube, captions. Do you perhaps have any suggestions?

I have the same issue with German. I can read and hear and understand German at a slow pace but as soon as it is spoken fast, I only understand a few words or sentences. I think the answer is MORE input 😃 You and I are not ready yet to understand fast spoken target language because we didn't get enough input. So continue to get input and add short clips of fast spoken input in your daily dose like watching French ads for example. Little by little you will understand more and more. Let me know how it goes 👌
