My gran lived in that block for 47 years until she died back in 2011. They used to say she was "in with the bricks". I stayed up there many times with her when staying over in Glasgow.
I used to live here, very same block, was my secod flat after red road. Was so long ago I don't even remember which floor, may have been 8th but not positive.. (I am now 50 it was 30 years ago :) ) The first bedroom to the right as you enter the flat, this room had like a fire door in the actual bedroom, which made the bedroom really cold. I noticed you went past one of these doors at one point in your video :) It seems they won't be pulling this block down any time soon as you say it has been refurbished. It was so long ago but it does seeem a bit different. BTW it is suich a coincidence I ended up in this block as years ago 2 of my uncles live in the same block, different floors. One of them has a youttube channel and has uploaded some videos he made years ago in this same block (Parkerthelarker), be his earlier videos, he had a cam corder back then so years later uploaded them to youtube :)

All the lifts in all the tower blocks in my city have now been completely replaced with brand new ones for the second time since they were built, we only have 13 tower blocks left out of about 24😢but they all have really high security with cctv everywhere! I wanted to ask you would you live in a tower yourself? Or do you like to just visit them? Personally I love em and lived in one for years but been out about since 2010 but I am contemplating moving back into one! What’s your thoughts m8 I’d appreciate your feedback 👍👍👍
Personally I would love to live in a tower block as that will make my dream come true as I used to stay in Flat 27/4 10 Red Road Court till April 2003 and that really started my love for tower blocks and my thoughts on living in a tower block is that they are amazing to live inside of and you would feel very secure in the blocks and the closes are all well looked after

Think I lived in this or 50 it was the one nearest Dumbarton road. 2007 was my exit from this hellhole.
