- RTA Afghanistan is the state-owned television channel in Afghanistan, launched in
1977. It is the country’s first and one of the news channels.
Afghanistan National Television became available in Europe, Middle East, North Africa Africa Asia Pacific, and North America on 5 January 2008. The channel's broadcasting hours were 06:00 to 00:00 (local Afghan time), corresponding to 01:30 to 19:30 UTC. Later in 2008, RTA became a 24-hour channel, and this allowed viewers internationally to watch it at more convenient hours.

Salam to the noble elements in the Eslamic Emirate!
Regarding the freedom of speech, the respected Emarat needs to be reminded that keeping the high schools and pouhantons for the Afghan women and girls, and disbanding political activities is not a good policy. We are not begging for it. It's the right of Afghans.
I salute the Emarat for toppling the corrupt regime in Afghanistan, and for defeating Nato in Afghanistan. But, plz, don't insult the Afghan people. Plz send the backwarded fanatic elements of the respected Emarat to foreign countries for some education.
Otherwise, they will cause second fall of the Emarat.
