I’m still watching it and loving it. Well done brother
That is some cool footage bud ! I can’t wait to see what you capture on your canoeing and fishing adventures!!! Going to be sick
I agree. Should be pretty sweet videos. Hopefully the winds cooperate and get the script. LOL!
Absolutely gorgeous footage from that. Wow i am impressed brother!
Thanks! Hopefully I get enough practice with this so I can get some great video captures for my big trip coming up in just over a week from now. I'm both excited and nervous about that trip since a lot of it is just crown land camping and that means first come, first serve for campsites. I could end up making a campsite somewhere if I can't find one each night. But it's all part of the adventure.
You are very welcome brother. Oh yeah that is going to be an awesome adventure. I think you are doing a pretty good job at handling that drone right now.
Yeah i bet your excited and nervous at the same time about the trip. You finding a campsite whether it's an official spot or a diy spot is nothing new to you right? Like you said, it is all part of the adventure. Tuck doesn't care what he sleep in or on lol. Heck give him a big stick and he is a very happy camper lol. Just deal with it as it comes up and go from there. You got this.
@@jeffjackson5331 for sure! Just like the Lady-Evelyn River trip, I don't have any plan set in stone cause the moment you do that, the plan falls apart within a day or two. I have a rough idea where I want to camp each night but mother nature may have other plans and I end up further or shorter than the original laid out plan. I'm inside park boundaries for about 2 nights at the start but after that, it's anyone's guess. Biggest trip I've ever done, but good thing is I'm passing through the town of Temagami about one week in so worse case scenario, I can resupply with anything I'm short of at that point.
@@darrendavidsonoutdoors oh yeah i am the same way, i try not to make plans because they always go to 💩 quick lol. Cool on the first two nights and yeah after will be a crap shoot on spots but it will work out. That will be cool going thru town so restock if need be. You and Tuck are going to have a blast that’s for sure.
This is awesome. I love my drone. I'm just terrible at the controls. Lol. I was never much of a video game person 😅. I feel like gamers would be awesome at this. Amazing underwater capture of your fish!! Trying to recall if you said where you are. Going to take a wild guess after checking google maps and say New Liskeard from the position and contour of the lake and sunset. Gorgeous. Watched in full. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, I'm in New Liskeard. Born and raised here. Traveled all over north America by truck but I keep coming back home here cause nowhere else has this much water and wilderness all around them. Parts of Northern Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario have some beautiful areas too but I'm already settled here so why move for the same view?! As far as drone controls go, I made the mistake of treating the drone like a flight simulator and I often pull down on the controller wanting to go up. Almost went into a tree the first flight cause of that but I'm figuring it out now. Nerve wrecking when it gets out of site and I can't hear it anymore but having confidence in the phone screen showing me everything going on, I slowly figured it out. Landing in the dark was a whole new challenge though. Had to use the return to home feature and once it got over me and closer to the ground, I took over the controls to land it on a hard surface. As I told a friend of mine; I may have to make a lite up landing pad I can see from the sky. LOL!
@@darrendavidsonoutdoors aha! I'm right! Awesome. Never been... maybe someday. I haven't tried the drone at night yet. My problem is forgetting which way it's turned, not knowing the surrounding area and losing site in the sun! Yikes. Thank God for RTH! 🤣. I've actually got my best footage with RTH because the movements are so much smoother than my jerky, unqualified movements. Lol.

@@lorettaandjasonoffgrid yes, the first sunset view I caught in this video was by mistake as well cause it was only my second time flying it and the first was just in my backyard. So I hit the RTH feature cause I wanted to see how it worked and suddenly it went straight up to 150m or whatever the height was set at and pointed right at the sun which I then canceled the RTH cause I said; Whoa! Check out that sunset! The things you see from the sky you can't from the ground. The only special thing with this town lately is its location. We still have a great Fall Fair but everything else in the last 10 years or so has gone right down the crapper. Not the great little town it used to be growing up here. I'm hoping to move to the outskirts somewhere one day off grid and get out of this place. Way to city like now. Used to be a friendly little farming town where everyone knew everyone. Now I barely know my neighbors.🤷♂️🙄
@@darrendavidsonoutdoors I totally get the want to move out of town! We're on that journey and we're already on the outskirts at our on grid home. Lol. We just want to be in the bush!
Awesome footage. Ill be honest, I hate drone videos. It makes me want to get one. 😂
LOL! I know, I kept saying the same but I was trying to save up for a really nice camera I want as a birthday gift to myself but it seemed to be out of my budget range at the moment, so as I was scrolling cheaper options, drones kept appearing and I said; hey, the budget will cover that! So as a birthday gift got myself a DJI Mini 2 SE drone. The bigger mirrorless Canon camera I want will have to wait a little longer. Maybe as a Christmas gift, but we'll see. But this should come in handy on camping trips for now.
