  • In this episode, I run through the life of Henri Lebesgue, known almost solely for his PhD thesis on integration. Thought that would overshadow much of the work did during his lifetime, he researched in many areas of mathematics.
Apologies ahead of time for my poor accents when trying to pronounce names. My French pronunciation needs work...

    Really enjoy your videos.
Also, using Ravel’s Sonatine and Debussy’s Clair de Lune for background is quite appropriate for the Lebesgue video, which could not be integrated in any other way.

Suggestion: add words on the screen when you are putting forward a quote. Great video

Informative good video, highly academic that's all, philosophy is good think but common sense works, we respect great men but rarely we follow them. Sky

Your pronunciation is distracting. Is it purposely hammy because you're afraid of sounding bad? (Hence the exaggeration?) Try to learn IPA and write the symbols in your script. That failing, check the audio on Wikipedia and transcribe it as you hear it.

LOL it is distractingly bad. Almost sarcastic sounding.

Your videos are amazing but I have to agree with this comment. One other approach would be to just pronounce the names as any native English speaker would without worrying too much about trying to get the pronunciation right.
