The new A30 dual carriage way from Chiverton Cross to Carland Cross in Cornwall was fully opened to the public on Monday 24th June, 2024.
This is my dash-cam footage on the morning of the 27th, headed eastbound.
The entire journey was completed in around 7 minutes cruising at between 60 and 65mph. This will be a huge relief as this was one of the biggest traffic bottlenecks remaining on the A30.
