New sub here. I just applied my last fert app yesterday. Your lawn is looking great.

My 1 yr old kbg lawn got severe rust this summer. It lasted months as I tried to grow it out with nitrogen. The grass kinda got better but as soon as growth slowed rust took back over. I finally got fed up and gave the yard a fungicide treatment and another heavy fertilization that was the trick it was gone within a week wish I had gone that route much sooner. I had clouds of red dust just from walking through the lawn it was crazy.

Thanks. What did you use as a fungicide?

Thanks, have to admit this warm weather has helped a lot.

Are you putting down some fungicide in prep for the winter to prevent snow mold or has that never been an issue for you?

I've never really had a snow mold issue but someone did recommend a fungicide for my lawn rust.

What soil temp are you ideally looking for?

Ideally you are looking for a soil temp near 40 F so that the fertilizer will remain dormant with the lawn until spring.
