    AWESOME !!!! im building a trike from an old GS myself, i have a reliant axle i want to shorten just like yours. with the diff in line with the shaft. i was going to leave it with rear suspension, is there any reason why you hard tailed yours ? many thanks for sharing....cheers

    the rear you use is it from a kit? also if you used a car rear doesnt it turn in the opposite direction? what does backyard builder do then if a builder uses a car rear?

      no kit. just make it up as you go along ! yes axle is from a car . turned upside down. half shaft and tube shortened on one side. so prop shaft and differential .run in line with engine output. you must not run a prop shaft. u j joint .at any more than a 20 degree angle.

    i have a 1980 gs 1000 i want to make a trike out of. but no idea how to. do you have plans you might sell?
