Love the idea of a slide out back rather than side so the rig is shorter. Your reviews are great.

what a great camper! I'm impressed they've managed to add so many sleeping spaces along w/ everything you need like a bathroom, kitchen, & RV size fridge. I've got 4 kids and some of these smaller campers don't have enough sleeping room for 4 kids and an adult and since my kids are all in the pre-teen to teenage age ranges they don't really wanna have to share a bed w/ mom lol

This is a neat Floorplan. I'm definately going to search the tube for this one. Thx.

Hi Dave! We looked at a camper with the same set up once upon a time. The bunks were too small for our boys. We ended up with a Coachman Freedom Express 25'. It has a good sized bathroom, double bunkbed, and a bedroom in the front. You ought to check one out. So far ours has held up well. We did (a few weeks ago) take out the U shaped dinette and put in a couch that turns into a full size bed. The table isn't attached to the floor so you can move it if you need to use it outside or whatever you fancy. Love the ending Thanks again!

thank you!! For me, my closest Freedom Express dealer is south of Cullman, about 1.5 hour drive for me. I will get some in the future. I got some last year and year before, but I no longer go to that dealership. Thanks for watching and comment

Love the rear slide out! Beautiful bed. Like dining and couch. Not much storage for the # of people it sleeps. Pricey too. Thanks Dave good video.

@@davesrvchannel4717 We have this in the 2011 year model. The wife says it sleeps 1, two if I behave. The purpose of having one this size is so the relatives can't stay with us. I told them we will take the 3 person tent if they want to come with us.:)

Used to all the Outbacks had the rear slide out bed, that's where the get the name Outback. I believe they have Outbacks without the rear slide now.

Great review Dave. I like that floor plan. I guess you would have to fold down the couch also to get the slide in? Great job buddy 👍

Very unique for sure. Make sure to keep belongings during travel, towards the front of camper. With the rear slide adding rear weight, it could easily sway as you travel. With weight balanced it'll ride much better.

Great review, as usual Dave. Windows are great. To me this is a good family unit for weekends or vacations. Not so good for the traveler. With that king bed on a slide and the slide in, I'm quite sure it takes 100% of the room up to the kitchen. Yes you can get to the kitchen, refer & bath with the slide in but absolutely no other room.

Strictly a warm season RV something you couldn't really live in year round.Making that slide bed would be daunting as well as Mom & Dad better not be heavies⚠️

    • @Amer1ca56

The bed capacity is 1000 lbs.

At my age I would hate to make that master bed. If I was 20 and be a different story

man have I got a secret you will love. I too struggle with making the bed, so,,,,I leave it. Yep just don't make it up. I will mess it up again tonight, why bother. Great system,,LOL

Dave's RV Channel not what I meant. Changing the sheets. It was bad in my 29 ft Jayco, this thing would be hell. I think I would just use sleeping bags.

Well did you get your neck straighten out after sitting on that bunk.😂😂. Liked the camper except for two things. One the bathroom is to small. Two as someone else mentioned what a pain to make that bed.

    • @davesrvchannel4717
      @davesrvchannel4717  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I just realized the thing to do would be sleep opposite direction on that bed. Feet towards the back of camper where you are facing out windows. Wouldn't that be cool at a place with great scenery!

  • @fordilac

I would consider this unit but would not consider one with a fabric (tent) slide-out. Stay safe my friend.

That bathroom is too small for me.Otherwise it's not a bad camper for someone just starting out or with 2 kids.

Can you imagine parking a t a cliff edge with slideout over cliff,,, that would be cool.

Just bought one! But needed to know if I'm using the electricity from the camp site or the propane and battery. When we did our walk through all the lights were on at the dealership but now they're not. So confused

I own a 2016 210URS. The underneath of the slide out is a f-ed up design! It has a huge sheet of poly/plastic material which is glued in place. The rollers track on this material. Well, once the weather gets warm enough, that glue fails and the plastic comes loose from the plywood it’s adhered to. What a shit show. The fact that Keystone still uses this design in there recent models shows they don’t give a rats ass. Buyer beware!

WOW!! Thanks for sharing this info. I like for my viewers to know pros and cons of all campers out there. This video was shot a few years ago, not sure if they are still doing things the same or not
