Sephiroth was wronged in many ways, and in some ways, I agree with him desiring revenge for being wronged. If only he were told sooner, he could've been the ultimate hero, even surpassing Ardyn. To all who lie will know pain, but those who have been wronged will only know suffering and misery. Sephiroth only became obsessed after he found out. However, he didn't fully turn. He probably would've benefited if Zack and Cloud opened their minds about taking down major Shinra official scientists, at least the ones who deserved it. My parting words? Don't lie to those you call friends, and never turn your back on them. Too bad the world is full of monsters waiting to pounce.
Exactly Sephiroth was not a bad person from the beginning, he was very careful with Claude and the rest was very kind, but when he realized something. He understood what he was away from.
Im not so hard into the lore, but isn't it so, when sephiroth turned bad, he slowly become unhumane in his revenge thirst and turned somehow closer and closer to an higher evil entity like his "mother" jenova, so in your analysis you can't treat him like a normal humen? OMG! This is EPIC! Wonderful! Beautiful! I fell in love with Sephiroth when I got him as an early Christmas present for my favorite fighting game, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate after I completed the December 2020 Sephiroth Challenge with Bowser {after trying five times and unlocking him on the fifth attempt} and OMG, the legendary one-winged angel is so much fun to play with! Yes, I can happily say that he is my official new main over my old ones, Joker, Dark Pit, Falco and Blue Yoshi and Sephiroth has been making my fights much easier, especially in Tourney and Smash Mode, including the Spirit Board and its counterparts, the DLC Spirit Boards, along with the Event Spirits. He's paired up with Bowser for the Spirit Boards. PS: Sephiroth has gotten me tons of Shield Breaks and Meteor Smashes more than any other character to date. In my personal opinion, Sephiroth is much more easier to control than Joker is. I've seen Sephiroth's Ultimate trailer more than once and I have to say, he had me screaming like Dad from Fairly Oddparents, lol, something Joker never managed to do with his trailer. I guess you could say that I fell in love with Sephiroth because I did when I first saw him in Ultimate, which was the game that introduced me to him as well as the Final Fantasy series. Thanks to the one-winged angel being included and for Nintendo introducing me to him, I'm now a huge dedicated fan to the FF series.

Heck, I didn't know who this guy was at first unlike the FF fans, but I can tell you that he won me over as soon as I saw his trailer. He had such a HUGE impact on us that the entire world was left wanting more of him. And between you and me, the world did NOT stop talking about how special and incredible this character was AFTER he was revealed and released. The reason I like Sephiroth is because well, he fits my playstyle and I've been looking for a character for SOOOOOOOO long to match my style of defense and offense, since my ex-mains weren't cutting it for me anymore after I used them for all these years so I guess you can say I found my true, perfect main in Sephiroth. I am NOT ashamed to say that I ditched all three of my mains for GOOD for the legendary one-winged angel because Sephiroth is NOT going anywhere, not even when these final DLC guest stars arrive in December 2021. PS: You're a thousand percent welcome for my point of view! I found out that Final Fantasy was made in 1997, a few years after I was born in 1991. Wow! Sephiroth is an evil and wonderful character, and when you play I was really surprised to see him present. Classic Mode Route...WITHOUT DYING ONCE, due to my experience with the one-winged angel since I've been playing with him nonstop. Dark Pit was the first to get to 9.9., but I had some issues with his, because I lost TONS of coins and nearly half of my Classic Mode Tickets. Plus, Sephiroth has the highest score count in Classic Mode! =3 I LOVE how Nintendo designed him, for both his profile for Smash Mode's Fighter Select Screen for his Coat and Coatless Forms and how they introduced him for his debut to the legendary Smash Bros. fighting game. OMG, his design is just GORGEOUS! You can see the details of the wing and the feathers, along with his hair, eyes, shoulder pads, leather straps and jacket. And Good Lord, that smile just tells you that Sephiroth is NOT playing around. Nintendo also did really good with designing Sephiroth's muscular body, too.
