She was born November 26, 1939. Right now she's 81 years young as I'm writing. What an amazing human! Her life and message has touched so many and she came from such challenging circumstances in little Nutbush, Tennessee. Such a gift she is. She didn't just survive, she THRIVED... beautiful from the inside out. 💖💖💖
Having experienced the teachings of the Nicherin Buddhist practice myself, I can see how Tina embodies it in her way of being both within herself and in her interactions with others. She sees other's Buddhahood and she is full of self-determination 🙏 That light that shines out of her is surely due to her practice and the natural fire and compassion within her soul.

As great as a musician Ike Turner was, what he did with Tina was terrible. He tortured, raped, beat her up for years, even when she was pregnant. He was a mesn, evil human being. The fact that Tina forgave him only speaks volumes for her, not for him. And yes, she is terribly missed.
My favorite era of Tina was her Private Dancer years. Private Dancer Arguably her best work. The album was a masterpiece. Let's Stay Together, Better Be Good To Me , What's Love Got To Do With It and my favorite " Private Dancer " the single .

Tina never stopped traveling when she was without a record......same with her breasts. She said she had them "put back"..others say she had a few procedures to make them bigger...but its really a personal issue. Alot of people get work done.
